Chapter 2

casma's P.O.V

We watched as my dad walked my sister down the aisle.

The ceremonial ground was beautifully designed with flowers.

I stood beside my husband and son as we watched my sister walk down the aisle.

He was awfully quiet today and a bit tensed.

The ceremony was a success and peaceful, thankfully no rogue or vampire attack.

My sister was bonded to Beta Cole after he marked her Infront of us.

The reception was a blast but I was surprised my sister and Cole decided to postpone their honeymoon till the following week.

"Shall we dance"Rhys says from behind me and I smile, taking his hands we walk to the dance floor and begun to slow dance.

"This reminds me so much of our wedding night"I smile as he swirl me around.

"You looked so adorable that day,all flushed and cute, just thinking about what would happen afterwards"he teases.

"Well yeah,I was scared when you said you were going break me into two on the bed"I blush even thinking about it.

"Yeah"he pulls me closer to him.

This is just like old times,him getting all over me, not getting enough of me.

"So,I was thinking of allowing Cole and your sister stay with us until their place is ready"he says after a moment of silence.

"That would be a good idea"I tell him and we continue to dance.

"I'll see you soon my love. Be good to mama"Rhys tells our son.

He is taking a trip to Missouri for a pack meeting. Meeting of the Alphas.

It has been a week since my sister got married and she and Cole have already left for their honeymoon.

"Okay daddy"my son says.

"I'll see you soon"Rhys tell me and kisses my cheeks before getting into the car and driving away.

I took over the pack duties since Cole wasn't here and I was the Luna.

It was a long week but I made it, everything was intact when Rhys returned.

Days turn to weeks, weeks turned to months and soon my sister gave birth to her child.

A beautiful girl with blonde hair just like ours and weirdly brown eyes.

I don't really recall anyone in my family having brown eyes. Cole has green eyes. Maybe someone from his ancestors had brown eyes.

But other than that she was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen my life.

Rhys adores her so much and he even cried when she was born. He was happy for his best friend,if he didn't get the chance to be a girl dad then his best friend did it for him. Cole and Rhys have been friends since diapers,they are practically brothers.

My sister named her Rhynara. Such cute name for a little princess.

Sometimes it saddens me that I couldn't have more children but I was content with my son.

He is my world now.

My sister an Cole moved to their home a few weeks before she had the baby so we have been visiting more often after she had her.

We spend most of our afternoon with them,Rhys loves to hold her and put her to bed and she is now awfully acquainted to him.

When Rhynara begun to crawl, started babysitting her since my started working again and Cole returned to his duties.

I am a stay at home mom,the only job for a Luna.

Rhynara was awfully growing to look like someone I knew but I couldn't put I finger on it.

I loved that people started commenting on the resemblance between her and my son.

Eliana and I are sisters after all.

Today is my mom's birthday and we all gathered at the pack house to celebrate it for her.

My sister and I are the kitchen making the fruit salad whiles the other chat amongst themselves.

"You have to babysit Rhynara for me tomorrow,I have a meeting in the Capital and I can't miss it"she asks softly.

"You know I'll always have that girl with me. But what type of meeting has you working on a Sunday"I asked.

"The type that will bring me happiness. I have been for this all my life and it happening"she says excited.

"That is good news"I hugged her and watched as she sent the fruit salad to the guest.

I stood by door as I watched my family and friends talk amongst themselves.

Everyone seems happy and content, except me.

I feel like a part of me is missing,a part I can't reach.

Tears welled up in my eyes when I see my husband talking to my sister and laughing,it has been a long time since he laughed like that

I am glad he is finally happy again. He and Eliana have been friends for long time so I am not surprised by their interaction.

They are both carefree and free spirited while I was the conscious one.

I walked back upstairs so that one would notice me,I entered the nursery to see Rhynara already awake playing in her court.

She looks beautiful.

I kissed her forehead and she giggles accompanied by cute baby noises.

That evening before bed I told my husband something I have been meaning to say for a while now.

"I want to start working again"I tell him

"What makes you say that?"

"I just don't enjoy doing that anymore. I want to be productive. I am tired of being lonely"I say and he nodded.

"Okay. Before I forget,I won't be home tomorrow so don't wait up for me"he says and kisses my forehead before going sleep.

I guess I am working again.

The next day I was stuck with baby sitting and filling out job application forms. I don't want to use the pecks of being a Luna.

I want to work amongst humans and achieve something on my own.

It was around 8 pm,after putting the children to sleep when I received an incoming call from an unknown number.

"Hello"I answered

"Is this Mrs.Casma Rhys Dores"the lady from the other side asks

"Yes. Who am I speaking to?"I asked

"My name is Nurse Petra from Nan's hospital. I am calling to inform you that, your husband and sister have been rushed here this evening. They were involved in a fetal car accident"
