Casma's P.O.V

am immediately on my feet at the sight of Rhys standing at the door with his walking stick and Rhynara in his arms.

My eyes zeros to the little girl in his arms and I want to hate her,I really want to but I can't, neither can Valeria .

That doesn't mean I want her any closer to me or my son.

"I asked a question Cas. What do you mean by leaving? Where are you going?"he asks stepping into the room.

"I am not obligated to answer to you anymore Rhys. Where I go and what I do is none of your concern"I tell him standing Infront of our son.

I don't want him to see us arguing.

"Ofcourse you are obligated to tell me everything,if my son is involved and most of all,you are my wife"he says whispering the last word softly.

"Wife?Did you just say wife?I chuckle humorlessly.

He bowed down his head,not in regret but in frustration. This is what hurts me the most,he has, not once shown a moment of regret.

"Thought so"I glare at him

"Just tell me where you are going? I need to know anything that involves my son"he says

"Now you want to be the caring and loving father? Did you remember him when you busy with my sister and new daughter"I say and his face morphs into anger.

"Do not bring Eliana into this matter. Respect her"he hisses

"Oh look the cheater protecting the w***e. You know something,I don't want my son to be involved in this messed life of yours. You can have your pack of lies and betrayal,my son and I don't want to be part of it"I tell him.

"What do you mean by my that Cas? My son is the future alpha of this pack and therefore he isn't going anywhere"he says using his alpha voice and I know Matrix,his wolf wants to come out.

"That is for the council to decide. You haven't been a father to him in months,so don't come here pretending you care about him. Come Ty,we have things to do"I say taking my son's hands and walk past him, leaving him speechless.

"My lawyer will get into contact with you and I am taking everything"I tell him and walked away.

We are meeting the council today. This is going to be a private hearing, only families are allowed and since my only family is my cousin,Gia,and my son,she came all the way from New York,where their pack is located to support me.

She is with my son,who was playing with his cousins.

"I still can't wrap my head around what happened? How can aunt and uncle be so cruel. Don't even get me started on Eliana. Who would have thought..."she sighs.

I say nothing but to stare at her blankly.

"Don't worry,I spoke to Michael and he has already prepared a house for you and Tyral. He can train with Mikel and also attend the same school while you work"she says.

"Thanks"I tell her.

"The council in, let's go"the Luna of blue moon pack,who accompanied Gia says.

We all walked inside,Rhys and I sat on chairs whiles the alphas of the council took the high table.

Pride warms my heart when I realize one day, Tyral will be sitting there.

"The case of Infidelity. Shadow moon pack, Luna Casma and Alpha Rhys"Alpha Eli says.

"Read the motion please"he requests and Alpha Xavier of the blue moon pack took the sealed envelope and opened it.

"It states that Luna Casma requests to step down from her position as the Luna of the shadow moon pack and the bond and anything that ties her to Alpha Rhys be broken. Her wolf agrees,she also requests full of custody of their son,Tyral Declan Dores, deeming Alpha Rhys incompetent of taking care of him"he finishes and the entire room was silent.

"Alpha Rhys,you heard your wife. Do you have anything else to say before the council reads the verdict and decision taken"Alpha Eli asks.

"Yes"Rhys says and I roll my eyes.

"You have the stand"Alpha Eli says.

"Matrix needs Valeria by his side. All my previous actions were selfish,he had nothing to do with this. I went against him. No need to punish him for that. Also my son is the future Alpha,he needs to be trained and be thought in this pack. That is all"he says

"Luna,have anything to say?"Alpha Xavier asks.

"Yes"

"Take the stand"he says and I do.

"Once the bond is broken,there won't be any link between us anymore, matrix can find a new mate. I have already sorted refuge in the blue moon pack and they have accepted and offered my son training services. He'll be back once he has shifted"I say and they all nodded.

"Alright then. Casma,how do you expect the bond between Valeria and matrix be broken"Alpha Luke,who has been silent this entire time asks.

"A witch can do it. The same way he cast a spell on our bond during his nights with my sister,he can figure it out. Infact I already invited the her here to get it done"I say and pointed to the witch sitting by Gia.

"Okay,let it be done now. We as witnesses.The council has agreed to the terms of Luna Casma Declan. Once the bond is broken, you'll no longer be a mated wolf. The council has spoken"Alpha Eli says and I nodded.

He signals for the witch to come.

"Alpha,Luna please step forward"the witch says and I was there within a second.

"Don't do this Casma. Think about your son. Think about Rhynara"my mom says from behind but I ignored.

Rhys came to stand by me and he did something unexpected,he took my hands in his.amd squeezes it.

My eyes immediately locks with his and it was glowing yellow.

Matrix.

"I am sorry mate. I am sorry I couldn't protect you from his selfish desires. I won't give up on you or Valeria. You are my life line and no matter what happens now,I'll always love you"he says softly and a tear slipped from his eyes.

I slowly wiped it away from his face and kissed his cheeks.

"I'll always love you too. We always will love you Matrix"I tell him and stepped away from him.

The witch begun chanting and I begun to feel everything break away from.

I screamed and fell and continued to scream until I felt nothing at all.

Untill I was numb.

"It is done"
