The Frat House

A loud 'hi' in my ear jolt me up. Oh! I fell asleep apparently. Maddie look so chirpy, it must be because of Mr. Justin Monroe. I don't understand, what took Monroe this long to notice her? They're in the same school for years, and Maddie is pretty hot too. Maddie getting in and sit in the passenger seat. Followed by Aimee that sit in the back.             

" Bright and shine sleepyhead. Nice nap?" Maddie asked, still chirpy  

" Sorry. I guess, I'm overslept" I said nonchalantly " Hey Aimee"  I wave at Aimee and saw her beaming in the back

" Hey hottie. Were you dreaming of me?" she flirt. I laugh, but that is awkward.      

" So, where are we going? Home, mall, museum? Oh, Jerry's right?" I guessed. 

" Nope! Not at all. We're going to the Monroe's Frat House, to see our mans playing" Maddie said batting her eyelashes. I rolled my eyes." And you Aimee, for the hundred times, you're not hitting my sister. Got that?!" Maddie glared at Aimee, but she just shrugged.

" I was just trying tobe nice. And why did we have to go to that band practice. None of us is are musicals. I prefer we're going to Jerry's" Aimee complained. Not long after, they fell into their ussual banter. I just enjoy it.

When we're about to turn I look in the rearview, and I accidentally recognize a familiar black SUV. Where the hell did it came from? But the traffict is thankfully pretty busy. So I won't have to worry they'll make a move. What's with all these witnesses. 

I can't tell maddie about it right now, because of Aimee's presence. She will freaking out for sure. Besides, I can't do the same trick we did before. So, my choise is pretending that I'm not aware it's appearance. So I get myself involved in Maddie and Aimee's banter while trying to get a glimpse if it's a Man or Woman behind the wheel, or how much people in it to no fail.

So, they know where Maddie's school is or her in and outs schedule. Which is adding up to the first theory of Maddie to be the one that got chased. Fuck...this is so confusing. The first time I met my adopted parents, they were bugging Maddie about getting a driver or a bodyguard, which is I found a little off. But now that's just makes sense. I have to admit, they're filthy rich. So, there must a connection, right? Well, I should talk to Maddie later.

We pull up in front of the frat house. There's already a few car parked there. Also there's some noise from music instrument from the inside. I took one last peek at the rear view to know where the SUV go. Is it still stalking or gone. Apparently the later, the SUV just slowdown a little and then just gone.

" Hey Girls, you made it" Collin open the garage door before we could knock. " Welcome home" he open both arm wide like he's gonna give us a hug dramatically. Maddie glared at him made Collin scowled and back off " Can I get you something? Soda?" he asked over his shoulder. Lee, Ser and Heather already there, occupied one of the leather sofa.

" Soda's cool. And something to eat if you have it, thanks" I answered Collin. And then I took a sit beside Maddie.

" You hungry again? Seriously Justin, I'm wondering where are all thats go" Maddie commented shaking her head, I just shrugged.

" I was wondering if some aliens kidnaped you" Heather commented

" Haha. Very funny. She's slept" Maddie said, pointing at me with her chin. Collin came back with sodas and thankfully Pizzas, dumping them in front of us with a bit force

Not long after, Justin Monroe and his gangs playing some rock music. They're pretty good actually, maybe just need a little polish here and there. Or they could knock each others ego a bit. But I'm hungry and stressed, so I just left them alone and enjoying my Pizza. I can't really enjoy the music because the song is totally unfamiliar. All I can do just ogling Trent hitting drum in the back, enjoying the muscle flexed everytime he moved, wishing I could touch ran mr hand over his torso. Wait, what? I must be really hungry to think like this.

" Can I play?" s**t! Did I just said that out loud?

The boys stopped instanly, and they gape at me open mouthed. The shock isn't just their's, the girls just as shock as them. Even I myself surprise to my outburst. But not Trent, he's smirking of course. Justin monroe was the first to recover, and I can't just take it back. " Of course, kitty. What would you like to play? You sing?" He asked, handing me the mick.

" I don't know, that was just looks fun, so I want to try. Guitar if you dont mind, please. But I'm not sure I know how to play honestly" I heve to wet my suddenly dry lips wit tounge because the nerves got me.

" Do your worst, kitty" he said while beaming to me " Josh. Hand her you guitar" He ordered Josh. Josh tall, skinny and pale, or he looks really pale because of his silvery bond hair.

" Sure" Josh just hand me his guitar. And then he just plopped his butt beside Heather, makes Heather beaming. She even make an effort to undo her bun and take down her hair, while smiling at him. Ah...Now Josh? I hid my smile. Josh stoling glances at her, and smiling shyly.

I stand up where Josh were " Lets play the last song you play"

Trent took the first beat, and then Collin following in his bass. And I'm entering some melody, losing myself with the ritmic sounds, complimenting their playing. When I accidentally turn, I saw Trent grinning from ear to ear. When we're done with the song, Trent and Justin jump up to give me five.

" Holy motherficking s**t, Girl. You can play" Trent claimed. But now I'm gaping at Jeremy. His face look familiar, like I have seen him before, but where? Just then I realize, yes I just saw him. The blond version of him. I turn to look at Josh and then back at him and back at Josh and back at him again. They look exactly alike, just their hair colour look absoluttely the different. Josh really blond while Jeremy hair is black. My expression must be really comical, for the boys now laughing at me.

" Creepy much, huh? Wait until you heard them talking" Collin commented " They're twins" he state the obvious. What is Collin talking about them talking? Yet I just can't comprehend two different people yet looks exactly alike. I shake my head.

" You. Kitty, absolutely have to play with us" Justin added, tweaking my nose, I slap his hand.

" What about me?" Josh protested.

" You can't just replace us" Jeremy added his twin protest to Justin monroe. Justin just shrugged in arogan manner. That asshole.

" We've been working our ass out" Josh added

" See?" Collin makes a point. " Like I said, creepy" Yea, they completed each other words. I guess it's just a perk of being twin. You know each other though.

" We'll find something for you" Collin grinning at Josh, while Josh grumbled about ungratefull and arrogan

" Uhm...actually, I have to get Maddie home" I have to leave this joke behind.

" What?!! No. We just made it, Justin. And they're just hired you as their guitarist" Maddie protested " Why would we leave?"

" Really now Maddie? we have to go. Mam and dad will come home soon" I tried to point out with my eyes, I hope she got my message.

" It's Mom and Dad, you always said it Mam and Dad. Uh yeah, I guess You're right. I'm Sorry guys, we have to go. We'll see you tommorow" maddie said her goodbyes. We walk out the door despite everyone protest, get in the car and I just took the car in reverse and then hit the gas to the floor.

" What was that?" Maddie demanded once we got on the road.

" You tell me" I shot back

" Tell you what?" now she had the gal to look confused

" Who the hell were they? The people followed us from the hospital? They just tailing us from your school" I hissed

" Justin! Language" Maddie warned me

" Uhm, I'm sorry" I said shyly, why's my mouth so filthy

" How on earth would I supposed to know, and why would people following us again?" maddie shot me back

" So, You really have no idea?" I asked 

" Where are they now? Did you manage to ditch them again?" she asked and swept her gaze around. Her voice is a little shake.

" They're gone now. Not sure if they're going to comeback" Maddie didn't lie, she really is freaking out now

" Why are they stalking us, Justin?" Maddie lose her confident isn't a good thing.

" It's okay, don't worry. We'll find out, Mad. Don't be afraid. Now, I need you to give me some clue. About your parents, about you, your other family,is there any problem somewhat is not solved yet, whatever !"

" Who are you? What did you do to my Justin?" She grumbled "I don't know, Justin. I think, they might be Daddy's bussiness rival. That's the only thing crossing my mind. That's why my parrents always babbling about getting me a driver or bodyguards. It's common things around us rich kids. But, I just don't want one, I want a normal life, like normal teenagers have. Next Year I'm going to be twenty. Why can't I have one?" Maddie's voice is in the verge to crack. 

" It's okay. Everything will be allright, I promise. Don't worry now. I'll get you out of this, You know" I assured her " Now. I need you to buckle up, and hold on tight. I think they're just showing up" I said nodding toward the rearview.

" I'm so sorry for draging you into this, Justin. You're such a nice kid, and I'm ruining your life" she said while fidgeting her fingers.

" Urgh! not now, Maddie. And I don't remember anything of my old life. So I missed nothing. And don't call me kid again. I'm not a kid" I said, Pretending a scowl.

" Fair point well made, kitty. You're my kid sister, so I get to call anything I want " I rolled my eyes. Ugh! I won't got out of that nickname anytime soon.

" If there's anything you've been ruining. That's because you named me after that brat's. What have you been thinking? And he gave me that pet name I hate so much. What the hell? Now everyone call me that. I'm screwed" I really upset now.

" Whoa! You never talk this much. And, That's a nice name, that's why" she said. " And, watch your language, kid" Ooops, sorry….

" Yeah. Sorry " I said shyly "At first you think he's cute, and then scary, and now sudenly the sun rise and set at his feet, make your mind" I grumbled, she's laughing and I step on the gas to the floor.

Now what? We've been enough running. It's time to face the ugly. But how? We bare handed, no weapon. Besides, I'm not sure a teenager with gun would be legal.

If Maddie's right about their intention, then most likely they came prepared. And they must have some bos that just laid back watching the chaos somewhere. Think Justin, think!

First think first lure them out somewhere. Capture one of them. In the movie, inflicting some pain could get you some answer you need. But that was movie, we have a mess in our hands now. However, Maddie will slow me down. I can't in risk her life. So, I need to stash her somewhere. I'm not really sure I can fight. But Maddie said I could. And she have been sacrificing a lot for me,So now my turn. I'll take Maddie's words. If she said I can fight, then I'll fight.

I drove us out of town. When the traffic got thinner and thinner I think it's now the time. I look around. But there's only trees on the side of the road. I need to find something to slow them down. And there's not much cars on the road.

" Maddie, put your seat belt off" I said without looking at her. I need to concentrate on the road and keeping a save space beetween us and the black SUV.

" What? No, that's not safe" Maddie being Maddie protested

" Just this once, please do what I say, Mad. Pretty please..." I put on my puppydog face. Thankfully she did it, even if she looks confused.

" Now what?" She asked while her hands holding on tight on her seat.

" I need you to open your door. And when I said jump, you jump" I looks straight to her eyes

" Are you crazy?! No! I'll broke my neck and then die " she's screeching now

" I'll Slow down when we got the safe spot. Just concentrate where you jump, then rolled, don't fall feet first. Do you really think I'll make you hurt?" I looked her in the eyes.  

" Easy for you to say. Eyes on the road, kid" she shouted in panic. I rolled my eyes and got my eyes back on the road " Then what? Why do I have to jump? Where are you going " She clearly freaked out now

" I'll pick you up soon. I'll take care of them" I said, looking around to find a spot        

"What do you mean 'take care of them'? No! You'll get hurt. I don't want that. I choose move to new york hundred times then letting you hurt. What will I say to mom and dad if you hurt" She's blabering nonsense now. 

" No! I promise. I'm just going to try to find out what they wants" I'll go crazy if she doesn't stop arguing soon. Stupid stubborn Maddie.  

" Great! How?!" Yes, I'm going crazy soon.

" Come on, Mad. Trust me" If she's going to argue furthermore, I'll just shove her out from her seat.

Great! Now, there's bushes ahead of us, its perfectly on the side of a crossroad, and it's high enough too, They won't know if one of us is gone. I don't know why, but the left steering wheel bothering me. My mind kept telling me it's suppose to be on the right. Well, we almost reach the crossroad. I slow the car down, and open Maddie's door because she just won't do it, even when I shout at her.     

" Now, Mad" I shout again, but she just holding on tighter on her seat.

" No. You do it" She shouted back

" Tidak mau kepalamu! Ayo cepat lompat!" (f**k don't want to! Come on, Jump!) In my frustation I just forgot and say it in my tongue. Which is of course Maddie wouldn't know what that's means.

Maddie looked shock by my outburst, I guess she never see this side of me before. But then she did what was she told. She jumped on the bushes and dissapeared. I just hope she remember to roll or else she would get concussion. And I pray to god, may the trees hiding us enough, so they wouldn't know I throw Maddie out.
