I took a deep breath as I took the first step into the hotel lobby. The whole space felt very airy and big. It was as if I stepped into an oasis of calmness where I could just sit down and enjoy the atmosphere itself. It was completely opposite to the busy street behind me, which was full of cars. You couldn't even hear them here. It was all just so relaxing! Guess this is what all expensive hotels are like… Not like I’ve ever been in any before. I gave a last check to my clothes and then took a few more steps in the uncomfortable shoes I was wearing. I loved my good old sneakers. At least they were comfortable and didn’t give people blisters. But showing up here in those worn-out sneakers would be definitely a crash-date killer.
