The neat guy

Esi p.o.v

Another week is starting and today is Esi's first day at school in the village. Her stepmother had great difficulties in wakening her up.

The teenager sleeps like a log her stepmother was forced to sprinkle cold water on her before she could wake up. After an hour Esi was ready for school she took her bag and went out of her room.

Esi went to the kitchen where her father and stepmother were having their breakfast she greeted them before she took a seat at her usual place.

The breakfast went on in comfortable silence before Esi asked her questions that had been bothering her mind lately

"Dad, what answer did you give to Nana when he talked about me being a good match for his son?" She asked and look at the sudden change of mood in the atmosphere.

He sighed not knowing how to answer his little girl.

He was thinking of a way he would tell her without her getting angry because for sure he knows his daughter's temper.

"Well .." He started and look at his wife to see her giving him a look that says "don't tell her yet."

"I...don't worry about it know Esi we will talk about it later but for now go to school."

He said with a tone that leaves no room for further questions. Esi kept quiet finished her breakfast, grabbed her phone and off she left keeping in mind that her question was not answered. When out, Esi took her bicycle and started her journey to school. she didn't want to take the main road so she took the shortcut to school.

The road she took was in between farm plantations she likes walking or riding in-between them while she was riding on the isolated road, she heard some noise coming from inside the farm. She didn't want to go and check because she will be late for school but who was she fooling?

She parked her bicycle beside the road, took out her phone for a video recording in case she sees something extraordinary.

Esi began to walk in the direction of the noise the more she walks the more the noise because louder and closer. At first, Esi heard the cry of a girl and thought she was being beaten or killing. The intensity of the noise was making Esi very curious and pushed her to walk faster but quietly. When she got there, what Esi saw made her frozen for some seconds.

There before her very eyes lay a naked young girl of about fourteen or maybe fifteen years on the dirty floor with a naked young guy of seventeen or eighteen years on top of the girl pumping in and out of the girl.

The action before her eyes almost made her laugh out loud but she calm herself. Coming back to the girl, Esi was very sure of having seen her before but where she thought as for the boy he is a new face to her. Surely the girl is very familiar to her. She decided to found out about them later for now she was focused on taking a live show.

She was getting tired of waiting for them already she's been hiding there for almost thirty minutes now and she testified that they both had the stamina for that. Soon they were done, they got dressed but Esi didn't know why she was still doing there with her phone still recording.

she guesses she didn't want to miss and an episode of their live event, "did your parents found out that you got your period already?" The boy asked

"No, not yet. if they found out you know what will happen I will be cut and I don't want to go through that" the girl said.

"You know you can't hide it from them forever," he said

"Yes, I know that. What about you? didn't you tell your dad that you want to marry me?" She asked him

"Not yet. You know my father has a lot of girls waiting for me. So if I tell him now he's going to get mad at me but don't worry you will be my first wife before I will ever think about them." He said

"Okay, I believe you. you know I love you right?"

" yes I know and I love you too. now let go we will be late for school." He said and they left. Went they left, Esi came out of the plantation to the road she didn't understand what they were talking about.

The only thing she understood was that they both are in love and the part where the girl was talking about her menstrual cycle and being cut made Esi very confused. Why will a girl hide the fact that he has already started her period? And what is being cut? And bout the guys having other girls waiting. If there is one thing that she is sure of is that, the boy is not Nana's son for him having other girls waiting.

Her questions are not going to be answered there and she needs to go to school she was running later already. She started her bicycle and she left with a million questions in her head. Her first day at school was going to be full of events.

The young girl saw the building of her school from a distance and she grimaces. It wasn't big like her previous school in the city. It was very small. The school is painted in Orange and brown just like her school uniform implying that it was a public school.

While parking her bicycle, she saw the young teenagers who were enjoying themselves a while ago walking into their respective classes. She also saw her friend Kojo that she meet on the bus when coming into this village.

Esi also saw other students working on the school compound. Some were sweeping and others were collecting rubbish. She knew that was bound to happen. Cleaning the school compound and classes in the morning before classes were the responsibility of the students which she wasn't used to. Because in her previous school, they had janitors for the job.

She sighed louder, making her way into her class but she was stopped by a tall guy. She looks at him and she saw that he was neatly dressed. Nice hair cut with an over Iron uniform whose pointed edges could cut someone if they come in contact with it. She looks further down to his feet. He is also wearing and over polished black shoes in which Esi could use as a mirror. "This is called an over-exaggeration of neatness," She said so that the guy could hear her.

"Can I help you? " She asked the guy who is still standing in front of her blocking her way.

"Yes," he said and Esi raised her eyebrow

"With what?" She asked

"You have to sweep the compound too"

"What?"
