After their meal, the group said goodbye to Leon. Ariel felt a need to hug him, but she held herself back. He was right, it was not the time to move fast even though everything in her was screaming to get even closer to him.
They then started walking toward the inn. Ariel realized that not only was the whole group quiet, but both Chris and Daniel seemed sad. It made her feel pretty bad because it wasn't really their fault. They were just goofing around with her the way they used to do. She was the one who wasn't ready. She didn't say anything else though. Talking about it would only add salt to the wound. So, she kept her silence.
