"Do you think she's awake yet?" Daniel asked as they entered the clinic again.
"It's very possible," Chris laughed.
They made their way into her room and found her smiling at them. Her smile grew even bigger when she saw the bag in Dana's hand. She slowly propped herself up on her pillow when Dana handed the bag over with a laugh.
"Thank you," Ariel said happily. She pulled the cheeseburger out of the bag quickly. She savored the first bite, clearly enjoying it before eating the rest of it quickly. "That was actually perfect." She wiped her hands on a paper towel when she was finished.
"We'll make sure to pass on your compliment," Daniel laughed. "Fred sent it. He owns the diner next door. He also wishes you well."
"I may have to go there myself when I can leave," Ariel said happily.
