Chapter Thirteen

The sun rose on the first day since Ariel was released from the clinic. She was excited to start the day as she rose. She smoothed out her clothes and sheets before she sat on the edge of the bed. No one else was awake yet. She looked out of the window to see that the sun hadn't actually risen yet. The light in the room was coming from a streetlight that was close to the window. She ended up having to wait quite a while before even Dana woke up. Then, the boys were a while past that. By the time they were all awake, the sun was really starting to rise in the sky outside their window. Soon enough, their beds were all made, and they were ready to leave their rooms. Ariel noted that she felt even better as they descended the stairs. A different woman was behind the desk in the lobby. She
