The group stood to leave after Leon left. Dana and the boys folded up their cots and placed them neatly beside the door. Ariel attempted to straiten out the sheets. She couldn't get them around the rail, though, and had to give up. Finally, they took one last look at the room before heading out of the door.
Tom met them in the waiting room with a big smile plastered over his face. "Are you all ready to go?"
"I guess we are," Ariel smiled.
"Well, Fred is serving dinner if you would like to eat before heading to the inn," Tom said kindly. "Lexi said she would meet you outside in a few minutes."
"Sounds like a good plan," Chris said with a nod.
"Thank you for everything you've done," Ariel said with a gentle smile. "I hope to see you around town."
