Heaven's pov
It's currently after the football game and we had won by 2 points. Although I don't really care about football, I'm still glad we won and didn't embarrass ourselves. I can't believe I called Valentina's brother her boyfriend. I don't even know why I said it— I did though and now it's a total embarrassment for me.
I had finally changed from my sweaty cheer uniform to my regular clothing, which was just a basic white tee, with black cargos.
From the corner of my eye, I see Valentina and gross boy talking and laughing together. Something about that boy makes him suspicious and when I find out, I'll ruin him.
I don't even know what she sees in him, he's a literal creep and no to mention— he's a total player. The whole school of girls have gone out with him, especially the freshmans and he's a senior so he's basically a pervert.
"Hey babe?" My boyfriend Alan calls, pulling me out of my trance, and touching my shoulder lightly with his right hand. I feel his sweaty palms dripping onto my shoulder making me want to throw up.
"What?" I ask, wanting to know what he wants from me. He's so annoying like I seriously can't stand him.
"You good?" He asks, caressing my cheek with his hand.
I swear if he doesn't get his palmy sweat hands off of me, I'll seriously fight him. I don't even care anymore.
"Yeah. What do you want though? I have to get back." I say with an annoyed tone. I already know what he wants, but I'm not going to give it to him. His one inch d**k isn't going to satisfy me at all. He can't even make me c*m which is embarrassing for him.
"Since we won the game, I thought maybe you know... you can give me a bit of a... reward." He finishes, slightly smirking as he talked.
I grimance at his words. Reward? Is he a f*****g dog or some s**t?
"I can't today. I have things to do. In case you've forgotten, I'm captain of the cheerleading team." I retort, causing him to roll his eyes.
"Okay...I'm the captain of the football team, the quarterback, and the best player in the whole damn school, yet I don't b***h about it like you do with your cheerleading team." He says, removing his hands off of my shoulders. He's clearly trying to show off— luckily for me, he can't. He knows I'm better and that I can destroy him.
"Look I can't today, okay? I have things to do. Maybe another time." I really have nothing else to do, however, I lie and say that I do to avoid him. I don't want to hang out with him, he's dull, annoying, and ignorant. I can write a book on how much I dislike him.
"No you f*****g won't! We never have s*x anymore. Do you even love me?" Alan says in a snide tone. His voice catches the attention of some people, but they quickly turn away knowing it's not there business. Is that he really cares about? Having s*x? What about my personality or looks? I can be a b***h majority of the time, but he should be able to deal with it. I deal with his cheating ass all the time.
If people know me, they know that I'm a known liar. I lie when it comes to things like this. I mean.. I didn't even like him a bit. I'm only with him to keep my reputation at sake, but of course I'm not going to tell him that.
"Is that all you care about? Just s*x? Of course I still like you. If I didn't, I wouldn't be with you. You know you're the only one I want, so what exactly is the problem?" I ask rhetorically. He doesn't answer me, instead he kisses me sloppily. I push him off me before I actually throw up. I don't say "I love you" back to him, since I don't love him. I've never loved anyone before. I'm just not meant to love anyone, I'm the worst.
With a side glance, I see Valentina and gross boy walking towards Alan and I. I know for a fact that Valentina is holding back, but gross boy is pushing her into coming over here.
"What's up bro." Alan greets, giving gross boy a side hug and their secret handshake which is honestly pretty stupid. Who still does handshakes nowadays? Definitely not me.
"Hey man, I was about to get some food with Valentina if you guys want to join." He smiles cheekily.
No. Absolutely not. Three annoying people in the same room together? Again no. I would rather be stuck in a room full of rats, then be with them.
Alan knows I don't go out with people, unless it's my friends. He tries to give me the pleading eyes look, but luckily for me, I don't cave in, and I won't ever cave in.
"Come on baby, it'll be fun." Alan says, in a hopeful tone. I don't want to go, yet here I am... going to say yes. The reason I'm saying yes is because I have nothing else to do, might as well just wing it.
"Fine, can we just hurry?" I ask wanting to get this over with.
All of us four walk to the parking lot of school. I hear gross boy and Alan talking, but as usual— my mind is somewhere else and I don't pay attention to what they're saying. Valentina stops all of a sudden and turns her body towards me. I see gross boy and Alan walking towards the car, leaving Valentina and I leaving me confused.
"The boys are going in Jay's car. They are leaving us." Valentina says with a nervous giggle. Huh? What is going? The amount of confusion I have right now is insane. Although I don't know what's happening, I still kind of feel bad that gross boy just litreally left her, like who does that? To be fair, Alan also left me too.
"It's fine, we can just follow them," She seems confused that I'm offering her to come with me, so I gesture her with my hand to follow me. She seems to get the message as she follows me to my baby.
As she gets into my car, I take a glimpse at her. She's admiring the interior inside the car—matte black and red leather seats with led lights. I change the color with the touchscreen remote. She looks around the color with her eyes in awe.
"Are you enjoying the show?" I say sarcastically, reversing my car quickly to follow the boys.
"Yeah your automobile is litreally.... amazing." She says with a smile and admiring the rest of the car. Automobile? Is she trying to be funny?
It's adorable the way she's astonishing my baby like it's some prize. Well to be fair, it is amazing.
Wait.. did I just call her adorable? No way. I'm losing my mind. I don't find her adorable brain, shut up.

**Valentina's pov **
On the way to the restaurant with Heaven driving, there was complete silence blaring throughout the car. It wasn't a silence of awkwardness, but of peaceful and calmness.
The way she drives though is bizarre. One hand on the steering wheel, and the other one on her lap. I can barely drive with both hands on the steering wheel. I would die if I drove like that.
We arrive at the restraunt which is some type of burger place. Thank god I'm not a vegan, it would've been awkward.
"Shall we go inside?" Heaven questions, while she appiles her lipgloss on, which may I add—it's super cute. I'm calling the lipgloss cute, definitely not Heaven.
"If you want to, I mean.. We're already here." I add.
She nods and gets out of the car, leaving me behind. I try to time her to reveal how long it'll take her to notice that I'm not with her. I'm guessing she noticed the first 2 seconds I said that, because she turns around and walks towards the passenger door. She opens it, and gestures with her hand to get out.
"If you wanted me to open the door for you, you could've asked." Heaven smirks, and closes the door behind me. I ignore her and walk ahead of her to the door and now she's the one being left behind.
I see Jay and Alan, which I'm presuming that's his name and walk over to the table. Alan smiles warmly at me, which kind of creeps me out, but I believe he's being nice.
"Where's Heaven?" Jay asks, picking at the straw of his drink.
"She-"
"It doesn't matter, let's just enjoy the food." Alan interrupts. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. Is there something going on between them?
I hear the bell from the door, signaling that someone came in. There she is... Heaven. I look over back at Alan and he rolls his eyes as if he's annoyed.
Something definitely happened, but it isn't my business, so I'm not going to mention it.
Heaven sits next to me on the table and takes off her jacket she has on.
"I heard what you said. First off you basically begged me to come here when I didn't want to, so if you want to talk s**t about anyone, it's you. If you're annoyed by me because I don't want to have s*x with you, then leave," Heaven says. When I think when's done, she talks again.
"Don't even start with me because I can expose you here on the spot." She warns, and finishes. Alan sits there in defeat and doesn't say anything.
Damn she just demolished him. That's her boyfriend though? Why does she talk to him like she doesn't even like him?
Ah who cares, I'm pretty sure she talks like that to everyone. Either way, as she should! Wait..am I really defending her right now?
"Okay anyways... let's just order and eat." Jay says, shifting from his seat slightly uncomfortable. He calls the waitress over, who is a middle age man around his fifties I would assume.
"Hello folks! Are y'all ready to order?" His accent is cute. Something about white people accent is adorable for some reason.
"Yes sir," Jay smiles looking at the menu. "Can I have the triple meat burger, with everything. Also, I want a Dr. Pepper with that." He finishes, as the waiter inputs it on the tablet.
Everyone else orders what they want. The table is awkwardly silent. The persistent groans I hear from the waiters as more people come in.
Literally same.
"So Valentina, I hear you're from Mexico." Jay says trying to keep a conversation going.
"Yeah." I say, cumbersome.
"What part.... Why did you move here?"
Why is he asking me these questions? At this point, I feel like he's trying to get to know me—but I don't know if it's because he doesn't know me properly and wants to get to know me, or if he's just genuinely curious.
"I'm from Puebla," They all look at me in confusion, especially Heaven who's sitting man spread on the chair staring at me.
Is she...intrigued with me? No, of course she's not. She wouldn't be. She's always serious about mostly everything, like majority of my teachers.
"I um... moved here because my father passed away, so." I say.
"Oh yeah, I heard your dad got murdered." Jay says, with a shrug.
How the f**k did he know that?
"Dude, what the f**k. You don't say that." Heaven scolded, in a argumentative tone. She's defending me from what Jay said, but it doesn't really bother me.
"It's okay." I reassure Heaven. She looks at me with her intense eyes. Her emerald eyes gazing with my hazel eyes.
"Yes my father got murdered, which is why I moved over here." I continue, fiddling at my fingers nervously.
I haven't told anyone about my father. I rather not talk about it at all. I rarely talk about him because if things that he did and of course, I'm not proud of it. No one showed up for the funeral, thus it was just my mom, and I. Not even my grandma went, which was pretty odd. Well, I do understand why however, it's still her son at the end of the day.
"Oh s**t, I'm sorry about that." Alan says, sincerely. I brush it off.
"Don't be. Things happen for a reason." I speak. Heaven looks at me with woe behind her eyes.
"Did the police ever found out who killed him?" Jay asks curiously.
He's asking an awful lot of questions, but I'm still going to answer.
"Nope. The government over there doesn't really give a s**t about you. Neither does the police. They'll lock you up if they find you suspicious for any little thing." I state. The waiter brought us our food, which meant I can finally eat. Thank god.
"Do you think about him...like... all the time?" Heaven questions. She digs through her pizza that she got, before taking a bite out of it.
"Yeah. I miss him everyday, although the he did some horrible things, I still miss him."
I'm getting anxious just thinking about him. My father caused my trauma. Basically everything dreadful that he did, I still forgave him; but I'll never forget what he did and that's what scares me. I don't even realize that my hands our shaking until I look down and notice that my leg is bouncing up and down. It's uncontrollable when I'm having anxiety. I cannot control my emotions, neither can I control what I'm doing.
The last thing I remember is Heaven helping me into the bathroom and letting me sit down in one of the chairs that is present.
Then everything went black....
