Third Person POV

One month later

After Ave and kaya gave their test, like always she scored first division and Ave scored sixty marks, but nonetheless Mr. Robert permitted Ave to attend back the class. But Mr. Robert had an eye on her always, he did not believe at her still. Nevertheless, Kaya got scholarship and her fees was also reduced as in every test, she proved her determination for her studies. This privilege of Kaya was not digested by Ave. For the name sake of friendship, she was with Kaya but in heart she was planning to defame kaya and snatch her privileges. On the contrary, Xavier and Raj came back to attend their class. Xavier got recovered from his injury, but he badly missed kaya, and he could not let go her friendship too. So, this time he would take everything softly with Kaya.

It was break time, while Ashi was reading a book ,and Kaya was writing something. Ave was sitting with Xavier, and she was blabbering about her yesterday party, but Xavier was glancing at Kaya, admiring her beauty. Then, Ave frowned at Xavier's ignorance and averted her gaze in the direction of his gaze.

Her jaw clenched, and she intentionally pushed his chair by a screeching sound. Xavier's thought were interrupted, and he averted his gaze back to Ave. He furrowed his eyebrows and said, “What are you doing, Kaya would be disturbed”?

“Oh! Sorry I forgot about her”, she gave him a tight smile.

“Hmm”, he hummed and stood up from his seat to ask questions from Kaya.

“Where are you going”, she mumbled.

“I am going to Kaya for asking questions”, he returned her tight smile. He moved towards Kaya's seat, she was wearing a white hijab with a blue long kurti, she looked like an angel. He almost drooled her, and stood froze.

“Hey, Kaya and Ashi” he said with a smile, and waved his hands. Kaya raised her gaze from her books to Xavier,

“Hey, Xavier”? She said with a small smile.

Ashi got nervous from Xavier's presence, and she said while blushing, “Hi, Xavier. How are you”?

Xavier was on nine clouds that Kaya did not ignore him. “I am fine, and thanks for your concern, when I was not here, Ashi told me that you often asked about my health”, said pinning his eyes on kaya.

Although, Xavier did not attend the class, Ashi talked him on the phone as a friend. She was worried about his health, and hoped that Xavier would feel her feelings once. And kaya asked about Xavier, as a genuine friend whenever Ashi shared her feelings for Xavier to her.

“Hmm, But Ashi was very much worried for you”, Kaya said while teasing Ashi.

“Yes, we become good friends during these periods”, he replied glancing at Ashi.

Then, he slid his book on their desk and asked, “Could you please, help me in these questions”?

Kaya thought for a while and said with a sad smile, “Sorry, Xavier, but I have some school projects too, but Ashi had completed her, and she would help you”,

Xavier frowned that he would not get time with her again. But he understood that Kaya was school head girl, so she had many other works, he slowly nodded his head in response. As Xavier spun around to go back his seat, Ashi caught his hand.

She smiled at him with wrinkling eyes, “Let's go there, and I would help you”, pointing to the corner desk of the library. He nodded his head and smiled at her. Ashi was still holding his hand from her one hand and picking up her books.

Kaya winked at her and smiled at them. She don't want to be hindrance in their love story, and as cupid she helped Ashi indirectly. Then, they moved to their desk and studied for an hour. Xavier glanced at Ashi, her hair stands were coming to her face and she was trying to solve the question. She furrowed her eyebrows and pouting as she was not able to solve. Meanwhile, Xavier tugged her hair stands behind her eyes.

She flinched and averted her gaze to Xavier. “You looked pretty”, he exclaimed. She was overwhelmed by his compliment. She flushed and turn pink. But, Ashi was watching them from her corner of eyes, she was rage in anger.

“These two best friends wanted to get everything”, she huffed and mumbled to herself.

At any cost, she wanted to get praises and Xavier for herself. For that she has to plan big in which everything would be hers.

Abruptly, the library door got opened and Zaan came inside and sauntered towards Kaya and stood beside her desk. He cleared his throat to get Kaya's attention. He looked at her straight in her eyes while there was seriousness in his face, “Come in my office, I have to talk about your scholarship”.

Kaya was confused, but then she slowly nodded her head in response. They both left the library. After a few minutes, Ave also left the library and walked towards Zaan's office. She waited for a few minutes, then went back of his office and stood outside his office window. It was opened but covered with black velvet curtains.

She wanted to know why Kaya had been called, so that she could make her life miserable and become superior from her.
