With a smile on her face, Emily said, "I received news that this Ms. Bastille seems to be the newly transferred CEO. Many people are unhappy with this takeover, and Luke obviously wanted to use this order as an opportunity to cause a ruckus."
I looked over at Emily. She had no idea that Liana was not just some newly transferred CEO, but the founder of Zero Degree. She had an absolute share of Zero Degree already.
But when I thought some more about it, I asked Emily in a confused voice, "Emily, how did you find out that Liana is the new CEO?"
When we got inside the car, she started the engine and said to me, "My friend who works in venture capital knows a lot about these kinds of things. Liana? So you are acquainted with Ms. Bastille after all. What? Is my information not correct?"
