After getting back home, I took a shower. It was already after 10 pm. I cleaned up and got ready for May to come home, but she did not call me even when 11 pm came around. I was left with no other choice but to text her asking her when she was heading back.
May replied, "Jake, I don’t think I can get back. Nicole keeps talking to me and won't let me leave her place!"
I sighed regretfully. "Fine, keep her company. Don't worry about it, we have plenty of time to get started."
