Jenn Paul's body falls onto mine, suddenly heavy. Before I can process, a man with a dirty shirt and an American accent speaks. “Well, lookie what we have here." The blindfold is still on my forehead, obstructing my full view of the room. “No!" I scream as someone I can't fully see drags Paul from the bed and throws him to the ground. “I thought you said there wouldn't be no one else on this island?" the person dragging Paul says. The dirty-shirt man responds, “I guess it's the sea gods. They gave us a present." The other man laughs. “And it ain't even my birthday." “Mine neither." Dirty-shirt man smiles a sinister, yellow-toothed grin toward me. “But, f**k, she's all tied up like with a ribbon. Sure looks like a present."
