chapter 5

As Carter goes outside I go into the bathroom to get dressed. I pull on a navy tank top and jean shorts. I slowly brush my hair and pull it into a pony tail while thinking what the just happened, did I just check out my bestfriend oh God did he notice or know the things I was thinking. I'm tore between talking to him about it or pretending it never happened. I splash some cold water on my face and opt to pretend it never happened no reason to make it awkward. Carter is my best friend since we were 3 there's no way he had the same thought and attraction I felt towards me. I'm not a thin hussy that has no standards and experience. I have wide hipes and thick thighs and I don't wear tight dresses and wear make up.

I go outside and get into the car. "ready to hit the road again" I say chipper and give him a smile. I turn up the radio to drown out the silence every so often Carters eyes glances over to me questioning or studying so I do my best to forget and not seem fazed or he would know and I don't want to talk about it. "We here" Carter says excited and we look at the busy scenery as we drive to our new apartment. we get there and start un loading our stuff. The appartment came with furniture included so we didn't bring anything big.

We bring in the boxes from the trunk and back seat then unpack kitchen ware, bathroom items and bedroom stuff we get to one of the bedrooms and notice only one of them have a bed in them. "I forgot that I couple stayed here didn't think to get an extra bed we can get you one first thing in the morning" I assure him. "Sounds good so staying up late binging real world it is" he says with a woffish smile. We order a Greek pizza and salad and I put on the real world and settle on the couch and while he pays the delivery guy. We gossip about our show and eat then as it gets late I begin to fall asleep. The Last thing I remember is Carter carrying me to bed and rolling over and putting my arm around him. I smile as I drift off back to sleep.
