Beatrice sat down tiredly at the sitting room she was exhausted from all the work, she had to attending to lots of people in the hospital she works in. as she rested, Kaitlyn walked up to her smiling.
"good evening mum" she greeted
"evening sweetie how was your day... hope you learnt a lot at school today"Beatrice said yawning tiredly.
"Amelia and Eleanor fought today" she reported, Beatrice frowned
"why? go and call all your sisters" she said angrily.
"yes mum" Kaitlyn ran to their rooms and yelled.
"mum's calling everyone" she said running back to the sitting room.
"I knew she'd tell on us..." Eleanor scowled.
soon they arrived all dressed in their pyjamas, they looked sleepy.
"gather around all of you" Beatrice instructed and they all sat around her except Stephanie who found comfort on Beatrice's laps.
"Amelia, Eleanor what happened today" she asked fixing her gaze on the two girls.
"she started it!" they both yelled pointing fingers at one another.
"shhhh one at a time..." she commanded.
"she was touching my stuff, she wanted to throw them away" Eleanor complained.
"I wasn't gonna throw them out, you were making a mess" Amelia defended.
"that's enough girls... I'm so ashamed of you two, the eldest girls in the house.. fighting, what do expect the younger ones to do" she paused for a moment.
"Amelia, as the eldest you have to respect everyone's decision and keep the house and your sisters in check and Eleanor you should assist her and obey her she is the eldest even if she's just one year older." Beatrice spoke.
" we are sorry mum!!!" the two chorused guiltily.
"you should be" Beatrice added"one day when I and your father will be gone, will you continue to fight like that, we won't be happy wherever we are, you have to be together always"." she pressed on.
"but mum dad saw them fighting, he didn't even care to separate them" Ashley complained.
"doesn't he love us anymore" Kaitlyn asked innocently.
" I don't think so Kaitlyn, is it because we are girls" Natalie asked.
"no no no don't talk like that, don't ever say that again girls, your daddy loves you, he is just having a hard time" Beatrice said suddenly Thomas enters.
"daddy!" Stephanie jumped out of Beatrice's laps and ran towards thomas ,he shoved her off and passed by while the little girl stood confused. later he emerges with his car keys.
"where you going Thomas" Beatrice asks.
"none of your business, cursed woman with cursed womb..." he said opening the door. she knew him, he was gonna sleep out tonight as usual.
"now go to sleep sweethearts" she kissed each girl on her forehead.
"always be together!" she added
"goodnight mama" they chorused.
"sweet dreams my babies" she said as they ran upstairs quickly.
they had twelve rooms in the house but the girls prefer to sleep together. they lay on their beds ready to sleep.
"I'm sorry Amelia, I'll never disrespect you again" Eleanor apologised.
"I'm sorry too, I should have understood you better" Amelia replied.
""awnnn so touching" Ashley said dramatically.
"do you really think we'll be together forever, " Natalie asks.
"we must do it, for mum's sake" Amelia said.
"for mum, not for dad" Eleanor said sighing.
"did you see how pushed Stephanie, like trash" Ashley observed.
"and he is sleeping out today, again" Natalie complained.
"shhhh keep it down, Stephanie's asleep" Kaitlyn said sleepily. suddenly the lights went out and everyone screamed in horror. Stephanie giggled.
"goodnight!" she yawns
