Chapter Eleven

She ran downstairs then walked inside the sitting room. Mrs Hamna and Naila looked up at her whereas she walked and turned on the news television.

'Welcome, I am your news anchor Sher Musa and you are watching BCN news.' Sher gave introduction ,  and Nora smiled while looking at him. That was his first time giving news. Mrs Hamna and Naila looked at Televsion then shook their head on her childishness while then all they started watching the news but all Nora was going while listening was checking him out. She can't check him out so shamelessly when he would be standing in front of her but off course now she can because he was not watching her. She thought shamelessly them giggle on her own thought.

It had been two week since he started working as a news anchor. She called him many times but he didn't picked up and only message her to gave him some space. She was hurt but then she just shook away the thought. She actually had annoyed him alot and torture him with all blank mailing and forced marriage, but that doesn't mean she was going to leave him. No and never. That will never happen. Her exams were going on as well so she decided to gave him some space and didn't called him from past whole week. She thought while standing next to patient's bed. She was in hospital at a moment doing her job as a intern.

'Nora.' Someone called out to her and she came in her senses then looked up at Mr Ra'is.

'You have been standing on same patient bed from past ten minutes. Is everything find?' Mr Ra'is said and Nora looked around then realised she had been thinking about him. She looked back at Mr Ra'i then smiled.

'Sorry Sir. I am fine.' Nora said accepting her mistake,  and Mr Ra'is smiled

'It was your last patient anyway. It's alright but is somethings bothering you.' Mr Ra'is asked and she looked at him but didn't say anything. She don't know whether to tell him or not.

'Come with me Miss Nora.' Mr Ra'is said then walked out while Nora sighed then started following him out. They walked inside cafe and sat down on table in the corner. Many peoples were looking at them weirdly and Nora don't know why? They sat down when Mr Ra'is spoke up.

'You look trouble. Is everything alright? You can share with me Nora......' Mr Ra'is stopped then looked at her

'I can call you Nora, right?' Mr Ra'is asked and Nora nodded her head in yes whereas he smiled as well.

'So please tell me what is troubling you. I want to help you. I can't see you sad.' Mr Ra'is said concerned impatiently and Nora just sat there. She couldn't noticed emotions except concerned in his voice either in his eyes.

'Sir If it ever happen to you that you love someone dearly but that person don't even look back at you. Your existence doesn't matter to that person at all while he means everything to you.' Nora asked while thinking about Sher whereas Mr Ra'is loudly sighed

'I have been to worse Nora. A person who means everything to me he hates me. He hates me so much that he don't want to see my face, my voice or presence around him. My whole world revolve around him but he don't even talk to me. He needs something, he goes to his friends but will never come to me. From past fifteen years I am dying to hear a word 'Baba' from my son's mouth but.........He haven't talk to me properly from past fifteen years. I wanted my son back, but it is my mistake as well. I remarry as soon his mother died not because I never loved her but because I wanted to forget about her. I was in really bad condition and can't think what to do to forget about her then I find best option replace her with other women. I have been with many women but no one could replace her till now. I have affairs, marry many times with different women, I was trying to forget my wife but totally forget how bad these were effecting my son. He stopped talking to me when I marry after his mother died. I didn't noticed because I was too busy in my life. Then he start growing up. As he grown up his hated for me increase. His mother died when he was eight, he left me when he was twenty to do a job while staying with his friend. Now he have his own apartment, well high class job and everyone know him but he still never call me. Once in a while he came to meet me but just sat drink coffee in silence then walked off.......And for now I am happy with this as well because at least I get to see his face but I want to have relationship like father and son with him.' Mr Ra'is said and Nora was sitting listening to me. She never thought he had a son because nobody never talk about it.

'I never knew you had a son Sir but there is still time. Just the way you want his son he must want your love as well. You should try talking to him. Make him feel that you care and love him not just today but that time as well. Explain yourself to him.' Nora adviced and Mr Ra'is smiled 

'Thank you.' Mr Ra'is said and Nora smiled back

'Thanks for sharing with me.' Nora said gratefully

'I am thank you for listening so me. I feel light sharing my pain will someone who didn't judge me, but I think I talk too much about me. We were here to talk about you.' Mr Ra'is said and she smiled

'Sir, now compare to your problem mine is small......' Nora said and Mr Ra'is smiled '......and anyway I think I will make him love me.' Nora muttered under her breath whereas  silence took place  between them. Nora sat there thinking about him when something clicked in her mind and she quickly stood up.

'Sir, I am sorry but I need to go now.' Nora said then turned over and walked out while leaving him behind because she suddenly remember she was doing wrong as well. She should visited him. She was unable to talk to him on phone then she should checked on him. Now she realised she should know why he was asking for a space on a first place. No body asked space without a reason. Nora thought while picked her bag and walked out from the hospital. She came out then sat down in taxi and told address to Taxi man. 'How she can be so stupid? How she can just leave him when he just asked for space.' Nora cursed herself while in deep thoughts when Taxi stopped on her destination. She paid her fare then came out and walked inside building. She walked inside lift and pressed on his floor. Lift stopped and she walked out then started walking towards his apartment. She stopped in front of his apartment then loudly sighed , and pressed the bell. After few bells the door opened and he came in her view. She looked at him and he was wearing white t shirt with pants and he looked tired.

'Hello.' Nora said while smiling and he stared at her.

'Are you not going to call me inside?' Nora asked after a smiled and he looked at her then moved away from door and walked back inside. She slowly entered then closed the door behind.

'Actually.....you was not picking up my calls so I thought to pay you a visit.' Nora explained and he didn't say a word and walked inside the kitchen. She followed him inside and he was making food.

'You look tired?' Nora asked while walked inside, and stood next to him on counter.

'Yeah, I just came back after finishing my news program for today.' Sher explained and she nodded her head in yes then looked at him. She looked at his moving hand cutting salad then her gaze moved towards his arm where his shirt was rolled up. She looked at them then she see light red nail scratch marks. She confused looked at them then ignored then her gaze lifted towards his face. She was about to looked at his face when her gaze fell on his neck. His top button was opened so she can again clearly see red long scratch marks there as well. She could had ignored first time but not second time.

'What happen here?' Nora asked and Sher looked at her whereas she pointed towards his neck. He looked at his neck then looked back at her and shook his head.

'Nothing much.' He said then closed his top button and started making back the food. She wanted to asked more but couldn't say it.

'Do you want eat?' Sher asked changing the topic , and looked at her whereas she nodded her head in yes. He again looked away whereas she was looking at him.' Maybe she was just thinking too much.' Nora thought then shook away her head to got rid of useless thoughts.

'How is work going? Are you liking it?' Nora asked while smiling whereas his hand stopped for a second and he stayed quite then just nodded his head in yes then got back to his work. She sighed then looked away and silence took place between them.

'Why you ask space from me Sher?' Nora asked a question which was troubling her the most while breaking a silence and looked at him worried. He looked at her for a second then went back to his food.

'It's nothing. I just need some space. I didn't just ask from you but Ahmed and Rizwan as well.' Sher explained.

'But I am worried why you want space. Why you want to be stay alone. There must be some reason....Is there any problem?' Nora said concerned and he looked at her.

'Stop being so worried about me Nora. I am not used to people getting worried or doing things for me. I have lived many years of my life alone so it's normal for me.' Sher said then he turned back when she got hold of his arm.

'But I am not used to leaving people I love alone at all, so you don't except me to leave you alone as well. You said you don't love me that's way when you ask space I gave to you. But in future when you will start loving me then don't except me to give you space specially when only reason you have is to be alone. I know everyone should give space to each other and I will give you that but not for week or weeks. Few hours or day is fine to be alone and think but not a week.' Nora said  while looking at him whereas he just nodded his head in yes without a word. She was confused he didn't even argued back anything. He would have say normally this marriage will not work, he winks love her or anything but he said nothing. She let go his hand and he went back to food. Then he finished off food and Salad in silence. He put food in plates then walked out. She sighed then followed him out and they walked towards dinner table. He set up the food and they sat down as well. They started eating in silence.

'The party day the women you throw drink on, why you did that?' Sher asked after a while and she looked at him then shrugged her shoulders.

'She seems bad person. She looked too annoying and I don't like the way she was talking to you. I was jealous.' Nora confessed simply while eating

'You was jealous just because she was talking to me.' Sher asked while looking intensely towards her whereas she nodded her head in yes while eating.

'What if I told you she tried to r**e me?' Sher said next blasted a bomb on her head whereas her spoon stopped in middle of air, her eyes widen with shock while she freeze on her place...........
