The Worst Part

1023 Words
Eve. I was whisked backward abruptly, hitting his brick-like chest. “Don’t f**k with me. Let go.” He didn’t, and my body was exploding with nothing but excitement right now. I don't think I liked where this was going. “I got the flowers for you,” he whispered near the shell of my ear, shoving them in front of me and making me hold them. The flowers had a fresh grassy scent, confirming they were indeed fresh. I narrowed my eyes when he released me. He shouldn’t have… Now I felt cold again. “Don’t turn around,” he continued whispering. I didn’t dare move an inch or attempt to look at him, yet I could still sense his unwavering gaze on me. “When was the last time you dyed your hair?” he quizzed as he slid my hair off my back to the side, perhaps to have a better look at my bare back? When I didn’t respond, he murmured, “Your gray strands are exceptional. It makes you appear wise, it's quite deceptive.” He slipped a necklace around my neck while I thought and rethought his words… his very rude words. But I didn’t snap. Why would I give him what he wanted when I could take what he had, his confidence. I moved my heel, ready to strike his foot, but it shifted just in time for him to spin me around and shove me against the wall. “This looks perfect on you… It’ll look perfect around my wife’s neck too,” he grinned like the Joker, grazing my chest where the necklace pendant rested. He bought it for his wife? What am I, a mannequin? “You…” I struggled in vain to rip free from his grip on my arms. He only pinned me harder, raising my arms higher above my head as his lips ruined the skin around my neck with hickeys. I hated the man… but I hated him even more because I couldn’t just send him to God. For God’s sake, he was driving me crazy. When he did this, this w***e of a body became useless to me. “Ahh, stop,” I moaned as if I meant it, but I didn’t. He shouldn’t even pay attention to me… Just use me .F.u.c.k me. I would have to deal with him later. As long as the necklace had grazed my neck, there was no taking it off again for another to wear. It was mine. “Oh, what’s this? No fighting?” He murmured against my throat, smooching it before biting. “New rule... no hickeys.” I was only just getting my wrists free from his cage when he dug them in harder, higher than before, forcing me onto my tippytoes. I didn’t like where this was going... I enjoyed it. “New rule, no rules.” His lips were on mine the next second. He stole my breath away and was going to suck my soul out with it. I bit his lower lip before he could win. God, this man... the word ‘enough’… does it even exist in his dictionary? He pushed his lips back to mine, making me taste and swallow his bloody saliva. When my eyesight got hazy, it almost felt like weights were fixed on my eyelids. My heartrate had skyrocketed and my head felt lighter. Ahhhh what was he doing to me? His lips stuck to mine like magnets and it was getting harder to breathe through my nostrils alone. Flavian… Was he set on killing me with a kiss? My ass hit the floor the very moment he freed my hands. I hadn’t noticed my limbs had gotten this weak. I was still catching my breath when he reached out to unclasp the necklace. In reflex, I gripped his large wrist, swinging it forward to my lips and kissing his knuckles the way he always did mine, except, this time I bit into it until it bled. There... I had marked him the way he marked me. “Mmm… Good kitty,” he ran his hand through my hair, ruffling it. I knew what he did there. He knew what he did there... “Don’t you try to take what’s mine.” “It’s yours, my girl. Your little reward.” My grip on his wrist loosened when he planted a kiss on my forehead. Ring* His phone went off. He rose back to his full height and strode off without a word after checking his phone. He didn’t even bother looking back while I remained helpless on the floor. TICK. TOCK. TICK. TOCK. I spent the next thirty minutes lost in daze as I monitored the needle hands of the pocket watch, every sixty seconds made a minute left me more speechless and less anticipatory… I clenched the object I held so hard, in the name of seeking some relieve. As it always ended, he didn’t show up. He left me again, the stylish way. The ones to drag me out of my daze were Syd and Alan, they came through the entrance, their noisy chatter was the thing that brought me back to life. I had sent them out with my card to go shopping with Crandon so I could have enough time for Percy, but then Flavian showed up uninvited and did this to me. No way could I let them see me like this. Amidst an adrenaline rush, I scrambled to my feet and dashed up the stairs faster than they could call my name. They were already behind me, and my sudden sprint left them speechless, maybe sharing confused gazes. As soon as I was in my room, I slammed the door shut and stood by it, leaning against it while I caught my breath. Flavian would ruin me if I let him… That wasn’t the worst part. The worst part was that I wanted him. I wanted him ruining me… As long as it was him. Only him. Just him. I would allow it.
