Annalise's POV
The air was thick with tension as my mother looked over at her parents who were now standing hand in hand and smiling at her.
"I'm not ready to say goodbye. Not here. Not like this." My mother shakes her head as Sofia walks over and pulls her close for a warm embrace. Cerberus walks over as well, placing his hands on the shoulder of my mother.
"This is not goodbye, but a mere farewell of sorts. Your mother and I have lost time to make up for. I must work on convincing my landlord that she should be allowed to stay here with me."
"You'd best have a damn good plan because I sure as hell will NOT allow it!"
