CAIN

Hey guys, so I'm introducing my second main character. I just want you to have a glimpse of his personality, because his role won't be prominent anytime soon. So I'm just writing this to let you all know that he exist but not coming to light any time soon. Bree still has to get use to who she truly is, she still has a lot of training to do be before meeting Cain, she still have four month to live her life. I don't see why I should rush the process. Leave your comment for me to know your opinion, either I bring Cain to the spotlight or wait till Bree discovers herself. Relax and enjoy this Cain's point of view.

CAIN POV

I know I'm not befitting to have a mate. 300years ago I was the alpha of the best leading pack in the whole of England and the most feared alpha in the land.

I'm what I am today because of my sins and the curse placed on me by the moon goddess, rendering me a past glory.

300 years ago

My park was at war, as it always have been, since it was the strongest and vigorous pack, but this war is not in our favor, and I refuse to back down. I was still in thought when my beta entered my office.

'What is the present report' I asked him.

'Alpha, most of the scouts we sent has been eliminated' he said. I roared in anger, I can't accept defeat, I'm a feared alpha, a small park can not take away my glory, I thought to my self.

'Alpha, why don't we accept the peace treaty they offered' he said, his head bowed in fear, I looked at him in malice.

'I refuse to stumble to any power, we are going to fight this war till we wins, I don't care about the people that has to die because of this war. Send another batch of scouts and win this battle'. I said barking out orders, he turned and leave the office to yield my decree.

I picked up my binoculars and decide to go to the tallest tower in my castle.

I look into the binocular to spy on the enemies camp not too far from my castle wall.

My eyes zeros on the figure, looking at it surrounding speciously before leaving the enemies camp and heading towards the castle. there was a traitor in our mist. I mind link the guard at the main gate to the castle, to arrest the traitor.

'Alpha the traitor has been arrested and is held in the hostage hall' he mind link back to me after sometime, he seems to be hesitating in his word.

Has i got closer to the hall, I found out it was filled with the people.

'Pave way for the alpha' the announcer called out announcing my arrival. The people paved way for their alpha.

Whisper filled the hall as I moved closer to take my seat at the judgment chair, I saw the chair beside mine is yet to be occupied by my mate.

I had my seat, I knew my mate was close by because I could sense her presence. I turned to look at the back traitor, wait wha, she was a woman, she is not tied and she look awful familiar, she looks like my mate. Dirge fill me at the possibility of my thought.

'Turn to face the alpha' the announcer said, the woman turned and face me, I widen my eyes in shock as murming filled the room.

"Why Anastasia' I asked her break the trial procedure, hurt and anger visible in my voice.

'I had to look for ways to stop this war madness' she said has tears pool in her eyes. I look at her in shock before it turns into anger.

'Who told you to look for ways, you are looking for ways by going into the enemey's camp' I said as I rose form my chair staring at my mate in disapproval.

'I had to look for ways Cain, mothers are losing their sons, wives are losing their mates, children are losing their fathers, this war needs to stop. They have offered us a peace treaty, why don't we accept it and stop this madness, their is no need to fight any more'

I looked at my mate dumbfounded, my shock expression did not last for a second before I began to boil in anger, how dare she challenge me, how dare she talks to me that way, I'm her alpha first before I'm her mate.

I roared in annoyance.

'Take her to the basement, she mustn't be given any water or food' I made my judgment.

'This should serve as a warn to you all anyone that dares question my authority will not be taken to the basement like her but will be killed immediately'. I said before turning my back from my mate and leaving the hall.

'Alpha' I raised my head at the disturbance. I growled at the intruder to state his quest.

'The Luna just collapsed' he said, I widen my eyes standing up.

'Where is she?' I asked perparing to leave my office.

'she is been treated in your room, we felt it would make her recover quickly if she is surrounded with your scent.'

I burst into my room looking at my mate, I think I have gone to far, I release the wall to our connection, trying to look for any life source from her but I found nothing.

Anastasia is gone I killed my mate, I let out a cry of anguish, at the death of my mate.

'Alpha, we notice she was four weeks pregnant' the doctor told me.

'I'm sorry we couldn't save them'. Hearing my mate was carrying a child made me hate my self the more I killed my mate and my child.

I stood up aburtly leaving the room for my office mind linking my beta to report to my office.

'Tell the alpha of crest park that we are ready to sign the treaty' I said to my beta, dissmising him to carry out my order.

White blinding light filled the room, I strain my eyes and saw a figure surrounded by this light.

'Alpha Cain' the figure said, I knew at once who the figure is.

'I gave you sereval ways and warning to end this war and let peace dwell amongst my people, but because of your pride, you've killed innocent people' the figure said with it eyes blazing with anger.

'I have decided to sign the treaty' I said to the figure.

'Don't expect me to let you go because you had a change of mind after the death of my daughter and her unborn child, I won't let you go until you have paid the price for your sin'.

'From today hence fort you will be a beast and will be strip from your power and glory, you wonct the luxury of a pack, you will search for death but you will find none because death will be far from your reach. The only thing that can save you is your mate' she said before she disappeared.

Eighteen years ago

Still in my wolf form for 300 years since I was curse, I remembered after the goddess disppered I ran to my dead mate trying to wake her up but she didn't bulged.

The first 50 years of my curse I was really happy to be immortal, immune to death, but after 100 years I became tried and continue to wish for death, throwing blasphemy at goddess for making me the way I am.

No pack was ready to take me in to be a pack member even crest pack but they did offer me the forest outside their their park for me to stay.

My 300 years of been immortal I was able to make friend with two lycan James and Cole . I was on my way to Cole house because he asked me to see him, when I smelt something mouth watering.

I haven't smelt something like that in 300 years and it was the smell of my mate, I had better continue my journey, the smell might be from one the female in the pack on her heat, but I couldn't concentrate I need to find the source of the scent, I further went into the boarder of crest pack ignoring the embargo place for me not to enter their pack, two scouts come towards me I flug the two wolf out of my way and I move closer into the park. The scent took me to what look like a hospital I entered the hospital still tracking the scent that happens to be my second chance mate.

I opened the door to the room where the scent is more prominent, my eyes land on the pup wrapped in a shawl.

A movement in the room cause me to notice the prescene of another man who I assume is the mate of the woman and the father of the baby she is carrying which happens to be myate. He approves his family, that was when instinct took over.

'Get up Cain' a voice called out from my coma state, I open my eyes look around checking my surrounding it looks like a dungeon, still questioning how I got to this place before it all came back, the mouth watering smell, the new born pup, his second chance mate I'm not sure how that is possible, marking the new born pup, sliver piercing my shoulder and losing consciousness.

Everything came back to me, I couldn't believe I mark a child, I feels so disgusted in this act of mine. I'm still a monster after all if I could mark a little baby, sealing her permanently to me with out given her a chance to choose me.

I felt so ashamed, I took advantage of her been a new born.

'Cain' the same voice that woke me up called me. I look at the moon goddess. I was already used to her frequent visit. I laid my snort on my paws.

' Transform back to your human form and follow me'. She said, I raised my head from my paws looking at the goddess that made me stay permanently in my wolf form for 300 years. I scoffed at her lying back my head on paw, she has got to be joking.

'Cain shift back to your human form' she repeated herself, looking at the goddess in confusion, I decide to yield her word, still lying down I tried to remember how I looked like in my human form. I still remember my jet black hair and brown eyes so I projected it thinking about a human in black hair and brown eyes.

I could hear bone c***k, I couldn't believe my ears, immediately I stood up to as my fur reside back into my skin, my paw reduse in size to form fingers of my hands and feet. I couldn't believe this, I can shift again, I laughed out loud. I stood stack naked in the cell.

'Follow me' the goddess said, I immediately follow her.

So you have all had a glimpse of who Cain is, the pack that was fight against 300 years ago happen to be crests pack which is Aubree's pack.

I hope you all loved it, because I enjoyed writing this chapter.

Disclaimer: this wasn't the first draft, I wrote the first draft and I don't know how it happened it just cleared I couldn't find it I was furious but I'm happy I re wrote this because I fill this is better than my first draft on this chapter.
