The flakes aren’t like winter snowflakes that are so big they look like pieces of paper somebody tore up and threw out a window. April snowflakes are tiny and sparkle as they float around us. They look like miniature stars and disappear as soon as they touch the ground. “Katie, look at the beautiful snowflakes,” Candy says. She lifts her face that is soon dotted with tiny droplets.
