"I have a place you can stay if you don't mind a little forest?" The girl walked towards us from the bar followed by two guys she was stunning in a white short cut dress her blonde long curls half bundled up and half down she looked like a supermodel, I realized it was the Bianca
"It’s Avigale, right?" Bianca acted as if what had just happened minutes ago hadn’t even happened.
"No, we don't mind at all, I uh." Astin looked just as stunned by her beauty as I was
"What he's trying to say is thanks. Avigale and that's Astin."
I was about to say something else but the boy on the left was plainly staring at me and sure that would have been fine if he didn't look like he wanted to kill me, I should of known, there Elliott was. Astin stiffened and moved closer his shoulder against mine, taking the edge off my nerves which were going so crazy it felt like I was about to fall off the earth if it was possible.
"On second thought its fine we'll figure something out." Astin replied in an angrier tone I turned to face him a little taken back, in the six years I'd known him I'd never even seen him give someone a bad look I was glad he was here it, wouldn't of been the same without him.
Bianca spun and hit the Elliott who cursed under his breath and gave her a 'what the hell was that s**t for look.'
"Don't worry about him, someone forgot to give him his nice pills today.” Astin looked stunned and nervous.
"B we have to go we can't be late, but I'll see you later tonight. I’m sure I’ll see you two around."
Dallas walked for the doors as we all stood waiting for their exit, I was watching Elliott who'd stopped and was staring again, this time more intently
It was like he was searching for something, whatever it was made my skin crawl.
“What is that guy’s problem?” Astin says beside me pulling my attention away from the door where they had left, I wish I knew what the problem was, I wondered if Elliott even knew.
Okay so that wasn’t my greatest plan earlier, but I was sure that people had made worse, I mean Bianca can’t be too worried, if she’s offered us somewhere to stay. Or maybe that was the plan wait until her mum and all the locals finish at the meeting and get us in to trouble then. The hotel people had already cleared out our bags so Astin told Bianca we would follow her I our car, he hadn’t said a word since we’d left the hotel.
“Sorry. The next plan won’t be so dangerous, I swear.”
“The next plan, Avigale are you kidding me. We got caught trying to break into a school a few moments later we get kicked out of the hotel I booked into for three weeks. Tell me because I really want to know, what exactly it is that’s going through that brain of yours.” Astin had flipped it. “I pride myself on being the rebel of the family, the one who doesn’t follow all the rules, I can see it more and more the longer we are here the toll its taking on you, this is eating you alive and, you haven’t even found your dad yet. What happens then? You get worse and worse while you look mum in the face everyday and lie too her that you don’t know a thing!”
“Did you ever think that we got kicked out because of someone else? Like the poor lady who died that nobody’s even had a funeral for, maybe they need the space for the families that are going to attend.”
“A death? In the hotel we were staying with and you think now is a perfect time to mention it? You better get those answer’s by midnight tomorrow girly, because we are going home, before you get one of us arrested or worse killed.”
