Episode 2

MAKE ME UNDERSTAND,,,,,,,

He rushed towards her,,and was shocked at her frozen state,,he followed her shocked eyes to see the words written in blood "I WILL COME FOR YOU" sprayed on her door,,he didn't know what to make of the situation and was very worried about her,,he slightly nudged her "Are u alright?" He asked,,she didn't say anything but just stood frozen at the door,,,

He held her hand and pulled her to his car,he put her in and closed the door,,got to the driver's seat and drove to his house

****Mike's house********

They've being sitting quietly opposite each other for the past thirty minutes,,and he didn't know how to break the silence,,a lot of questions were running through his mind,,but he didn't know if she was in the right state of mind to answer his questions,,the shock was still written all over her

He stood up,,, "I'm calling the cops,, to inform them about what happened,and to go to your house and investigate the case" "No don't please" She said immediately,,he turned to look at her confused,,"What do u mean?" he said

"I mean it's not something,, I want to involve the cops with,,I've being experiencing this,, for some time now,,and I want to sort it out myself" She walked up to him and saw his shocked face,,she sighed ,,,if only he knew wat she was experiencing and why she had to deal with it herself,,maybe he would understand better,,,

"Betty I don't know ow how to plan to deal with this yourself,but you have to involve the cops" He said "ther could be a crazy physcopath,,an assassin or even a r****t,, out there targeting you"

He held his hands in his,,,"If you really want to protect me,,its best we leave the police out of this,,,Please" She said eagerly

" I'll let u understand everything with time,,Please just give me some time,,I Promise I'll make you understand everything "

He sighed sat down and asked her to sit,,she sat down,,,he didn't know how to approach the matter anymore,,she seemed to have built a wall for myself and couldn't allow anyone get too close

"Do you understand that ur life might be in danger?" She nodded

He got upset,,he was done with her nodding,,she seemed to avoid his questions everytime,,,"I don't know what is happening,,but you need to tell me the truth" He looked at her saw how depressed she was,,he quietly cautioned himself for being too hard on her

" I'm sorry but I can't just stand by and watch u wallowing in fear and shock without doing anything" She nodded,,he sighed "not again" He thought

"I'm off to bed u can use the guest bedroom,,it's the first room by the left he said and hurriedly left the sitting room,,,she could clearly see that he was tired and upset with her,,and she feared he would leave her for being so mysterious and not letting him know more about her

She thought about those words sprayed put on her door,,this was the third time in two years it has happened,,,who could it be and what did they want with her,,she thought

Her mind flashed back to that night five years ago,,a night she had tired so hard to forget,,but still stayed imprinted in her mind

"You look beautiful" He said,,,looking at her with lust filled eyes,,,she looked carefully at him,,,and noticed how handsome and posh he looked

His tailored suit looked like it was carved onto his body,,,he had the shape of a model tall,,confident and strikingly handsome

This was the man she had to finish up in her bid to revenge her parent's death,,,,

"My name is Martins" he said ,,extending his hand,,she quickly pulled her mind away from her thoughts and returned his handshake

This was their first date,,and her first daring step towards taking revenge,,she had better not messed it up

"My name is Betty" she said

"Of course I know that" He said rather arrogantly,,,,she snickered,,,,he didn't know what awaits him,,,Let him be arrogant and rude,,she wouldn't be bothered by that

She had carefully and thoroughly laid out the trap that caught him

His name was Martin,,the only son of the business mogul "Mr Adams" (that was her real enemy) she wanted to get the son,,to be able to deal with the father

So she had devoted seven years of her life studying and keeping track of the Adam's family,,she knew their only son ,Martins was abroad studying and had just finished his studies and back to the country,,she had kept tag of his daily activity ,,from the time he comes to his father's company,,to the time he closes,,to the days he goes to the tennis court to play with friends,,when he goes to the gym,,,and even when he went out on dates

She had befriended his gym instructor and tried to get him to convince Martins to go on a blind date

"Of course u already know my name dear" I was only stating the obvious,,just like u mentioned your name in the beginning too

He smiled,,he had being convinced Into going into this date with this girl,,,he hadn't really had luck with girls,,most of the girls that he had met and gone on a date with,,where either too shallow minded,, pretty and proud,,,,or too dumb for his liking,,,he looked closely at this girl and noticed how attractive she looked,,,she didn't seem like a nitwit either,,,,"You truly are beautiful" He said
