"Galena, come forth!!!" Jerald voice was powerful and expressed a hint of aggravation. It shook the trees and the windows sounded like they gained life and breath and wanted to shatter into pieces.
Thick cloud that surrounded the quaint house began to slowly gather in a certain spot. It distanced itself from the sky and slowly snaked its way to Jerald's legs and then his middle area, trailing up his waist.
Annoyances from the great Devils Den is not what Jerald had in mind as of late and surely he did not want his time with Dianna disturbed by the like of them either. Dianna was in the middle of a silent nap after her transformation and the ordeal of Patrina death was disturbing Jerald peace of mind he recently gained with Dianna around.
Galena body became solid and clad against Jerald back as he pinched the bridge of his nose. He wanted to sidestep the conversation he was beginning to have with Galena and it was not going to be easy discussion while trying to convince her in leaving immediately.
Jerald heaved a deep breath from somewhere deep in his chest and allowed a few words to roll from his lips," Galena why must that pungent artificial aura be released each time you come for a visit? There is absolutely no need for it and the pains in my body when I cleanse the air is immense."
At that moment, Jerald released his aura and Galena body began to form as she put space between her and him. For a witch, Galena was voluptuously in all right areas with beautiful brownish red hair that reached the waistline in curls. She didn’t care much for capes, but she had a devilish interest in black cocktail dresses, that happened to all be knee length in front but slightly lower in the back. It was skintight around her bosom area which made her look exceptionally larger than normal and her skin glowed with a slight tan against those hazel like eyes.
Galena focused her eyes against Jerald while he began the routine cleansing that she forces him to do while she visits him. He released that aura from his demonic core and mixes it with her artificial aura and wait for it to mix as it become like one huge aura. Then slowly Jerald's body sucks in the aura and force his Demonic core to accept it.
Jerald felt like a thousand nails were being pounded into his body at full force until the side effects of the cleanse completely dissipated. He paled slightly but he was still able to stand and hold his tone in a respectful manner when he spoke to Galena, “ Why do you insist on ruining my moods with that s**t?”
Galena laughed, it always amused her how he was able to consume her poison without dying. In her mental, that proved his capabilities. He had merits that she deemed worthy of her serving him. Devilish as it seem, however, it proved her loyalty was rightfully placed in the Demonized man Jerald. He was the very epitome of esteemed power she couldn’t fathom. She tried to divine him and all of his secrets but was blocked by the curse from the Celestial world. “ Don’t be so whiny. It was a smaller amount than normal. We have business to speak about Jer. You know I hate the secrets you keep from me. I see Dianna is doing well. Considering what I have been watching as of late, the progress between you and her should be much further.”
Jerald didn’t bat an eyelash at her comment. “ You know I wont force her why even bring it up. Besides…… I pray she is able to marry me after we visit her family soon.”
Galena scoffs,” No family of hers. They are monsters, including that snake of a step mother and slime ball father. Jerald I must tell you what I know.”
Jerald was peeved but he didn’t interrupt her rants and wanted, no needed to hear the stress that Galena seemed to be holding onto. Her words were snaking into his ears and he knew they were not lies.
“ Alcannan is a bastard. He setup the little one up to be ravaged by the beast. He watched the beast destroy the child’s body and walked away without a care in the world. He also has an air about him that is unknown to the naked eye. You must warn Hera. Hera will be in danger if she is left alone in those treacherous woods.”
Galena face paled at the next comment. It struck Jerald as odd. In over a hundred years he had not seen her so disturbed and vigilant in solving the mysteries of someone other than him. By chance he guessed her next comment.
“ Alcannan knows the beast who killed Dianna sister. He was a friend. Maybe he was the one who hurt Dianna in the past.” Jerald had a low hush tone but his words were clear enough for Galena ears to peak sunrise red from anger. She heard the words leave his lips and it was like trigger words. Galenas hair was now floating and sending out electrifying terror. The hustle the wind was making smelled of her rage so much that she made the earth tremble, tree branches were crackling from her livid pores. Through all the internal war waged anger Galena was sending out, Dianna barely stirred in her sleep.
Jerald stepped forward and calmly placed his hand on her shoulder to calm her. He respected her in every way possible and has never treated her any differently than normal. She was a woman of choice, strength and heart. He held her in high regard. It pained him slightly to refuse her once before when he believed he wouldn’t find Dia reincarnation, but they were still working things out for the inclusion of Dia and how much change life would be with them all being together. Galena, Hera and Jerald were magnificent and notorious for their way of doing things in the business and mystical communities. Having Dia would definitely bring about a freshness that would be a light in their darkness.
Previously, Jerald remembered how Dia was always fragile. Beauty seeped from her lips like pristine trinkets of water in the river. It was never uncommon for mystical beings to be in a state of physical distress but not so weak they would risk early in their life.
“Jerald we must finish this quickly and you have to tell her. She will be crazed if you don’t. Her mind is not strong enough to hold onto the truth without love. You must hurry. The darkness feeding into the abyss in those mountains are strong and if you take her, you risk losing her.”
Galena was genuinely worried about Dianna. Losing her would be the least of Jerald’s worries if the situation in the mountains persisted. Galena knew the ties that Dianna held in those mountains were dark and they were not her own choice. Forced darkness was the worse thing anyone could go through and Dianna’s family was intentionally forcing that mercilessness over Dianna. Her ties to them needed to be broken as soon as humanly possible. With all of them being mystical and magical creatures, it would be a feat they have never come across.
The dark forces were festering in that mountain near the lake and Jerald knew it. Sending Hera was a call that was a necessary evil and Galena felt caution was needed. Hera should be accessing everything going on in Bear Mountain.
“Jerald please. I beg return and break those ties.” Galena was unshaken by his aura seeping.
He was livid, frustrated and trying to calm down. “Galena, trust me. Hera will report back soon. I am readying to leave here for Bear Mountain. Gather intel from the dark scrolls in Devils Den. We will need information. They are readying for a ritual but we have no way of knowing exactly what kind.”
Galena was dumbstruck for a moment. Then she looked him in his eyes and said “as you wish.”
Galena had zero way of knowing exactly what he was thinking but she knew he was right. If there was a ritual to be done there were possibly a few that he could be referring to. She was ready to go to the Devils Den but she needed to stop at the closest witches covenant Miloury. There she had a friend happy about dark rituals. Crazed and deranged Malory. Oh well, she would welcome her with a spell or two and then give her what she wanted to know.
With minimum wasted time, Galena was gone with the slight breeze that hugged Jerald.
Dianna finally woke up from what seemed like hours of sleep. Her eyes were all swollen and then she was faced with Jerald looking at her wrapped up like a burrito. She couldn’t figure out how long she was out but didn’t bother asking.
“Jerald? Will you take me to see my sister?” she was whispering almost
Dianna throat hurt so much. She felt hoarse. Serene stepped out the door with honey water and placed it in Dianna hand. She sipped on it slowly. Dianna felt her throat feel a little better but her feeling the loss of her cuddly loveable sister still made her feel lonely.
Jerald eyes softened a bit, just enough not to show Dianna how the situation was for him and her. He hid all the emotions he had felt from his talks with Galena. He didn’t want a trace of what he was feeling or what he knew to show in his eyes.
“Dianna, go and get dressed. We will leave soon. I will take you to her.” Jerald’s eyes twinkled while half heartedly smiling at Dianna. He could feel all of her pain. Her heartache was his. He was now determined to take all of her heartbreak and make it his own.
Dianna kissed him lightly on his cheek and ran her tiny fingers across his face. She sat the cup on the floor and walked in the door with Serene to get dressed.
Jerald tried contacting Hera. He was not worried, but he would need to know how much progress she was making during the short time that Hera was in the mountains. He didn’t know to what extent the damage had taken but it must be extreme.
