Brandi tried to relax. She felt as nervous as if she were about to perform for the first time. In a way, she was—tonight marked the debut of Brandi and the Country Boys, a brand new act that was going to break some virgin ground in the exotic dance arena. She’d pitched the idea to Texi first—after all, the wily old burlesque queen was the real person in charge.
