“Is he combative?” Adam asked, glancing at the door.
“No, quite docile actually, but he infected that kid and would have kept going if we hadn"t stopped him. No one but a Shade touches him.”
Adam nodded. “Got it. I"ve got Dr. Anthony coordinating with the men searching for your missing kid. If he"s as infectious as the one in Chicago, we could be looking at an epidemic.”
Raven nodded. “Good. If we"re lucky, we can stop it before it gets to that point.” She gestured toward the parking area where she and Zero had left the government car they had borrowed for the day. Dark clouds were rolling in, bringing with them the freezing rain and possible snow that the forecast had promised.
