They cut across a side street and headed back toward downtown. Bryan and his father had discreetly made the rounds of those they knew as belonging to one of the four tribes, and after they had gotten split up at the Labs, Anson had taken refuge with someone. Alaric pointed as they rounded a corner. “There, it"s down that alley.” He led the way out of the bright sun and into the alley. There was a small, unobtrusive sign on the door with Chinese characters in black and under them an English translation that just said, “Acupuncture.” He lifted a hand to the door, setting his palm just below the sign. “Dad was here.” He tried the knob, a little surprised when it turned under his hand.
