The next morning we started our training, all three taking turns giving me tips and encouraging me from the sidelines. They were still warriors within the pack, so there were times when Adam and I were left alone due to them guarding the pack or meeting with the Alpha. We still kept our presence quiet from anyone in the pack just in case the Alpha decided to contact Marcus or let him know of our plan. I also didn't want the "King" to know of my presence just yet either.
Over the next few months I improved drastically with my fighting skills, and they tested Aly in her wolf form a few times as well to make sure she didn't have any gaps in her training. She did amazingly well, and they had a hard time taking her down even when two of them lunged at the same time. She was a skilled fighter, and the siblings walked away with their share of scratches and bruises. Wolves have enhanced healing, so by the next day they were good as new.
My muscles and curves stood out under my clothing, and the vigorous training sessions outside had deepened my tan. My hair had natural blonde highlights and my freckles stood out on my skin. I looked d*mn good if I do say so myself. I looked like a warrior, and I fought like a well seasoned one as well. Over the last month or so I added some tattoos, a black moon on one wrist, and a half sleeve of a silver wolf howling at the moon on my right arm. The weather was starting to change, and I would need to plan my attack on Marcus soon before winter gets here.
This morning's session was especially grueling, as Adam and I circled each other in human form. He sported a bl*ody lip and I had a pretty good welt forming on my cheek. He had added trash talking to his sparring session with me for today, and I had to say it was working. I was angry and snarling at him and Aly was ready to tear him to shreds.
"You k*lled your parents, didn't you, princess? I think you did. The facts are all there." He sneered at me and I lunged at him, throwing all of my strength in his direction. He easily grabbed me and slammed me into the mat. I roared in frustration.
He stood over me, breathing hard. "Quit letting your anger cloud your judgement. You're a good fighter, but you get sloppy when you let me get under your skin. You think this won't happen in a fight? Get up, let's do it again."
I grabbed the hand he extended, pulling myself up. "I need a breather. I need to focus and get my emotions under control. You're an a*s by the way."
He grinned at me. "Oh, I'm aware. You're not the first to call me that and I'm sure you won't be the last."
I grabbed a towel and wiped the sweat off my face. I pulled the elastic out of my hair and re-did my pony tail, pushing the wet strands stuck to my face back. I grabbed a water bottle from the small fridge in the corner, took a big drink, and walked outside. I plopped down in the chair at the nearest picnic table and took out my phone. I got a new one not long after we got here to communicate with the siblings and Adam. I put my headphones in and turned on some Avenged Sevenfold. Their music always had a way of calming me down and hyping me up at the same time.
After about twenty minutes, I headed back inside with my head clear. Adam was sitting casually on a weight bench scrolling through his phone. When I entered he stood and threw his phone back on the bench.
"You good?" He gripped my shoulder and stared at me, searching my face for emotion.
"Yep. Square up, let's go." I threw my phone and headphones on the bench and pulled my hoodie off. My black leggings hugged my curves, and my black sports bra left about nothing to the imagination. I had definitely matured since I got my wolf, and my body reflected it the most.
"Don't take this the wrong way, but Olivia, you've gotten hot the last couple months." I rolled my eyes at him, and could feel his eyes on my backside as I walked to the mat. I still viewed him as a brother, so his words meant nothing to me. Things remained the same between him and Addy as well, and I could tell he still wanted her.
"You gonna come over here so I can kick your a*s or not?" I turned toward him and waited for him to get to the mat. I wasted no time in landing an elbow to his jaw and a knee to his gut. He exhaled sharply and looked at me surprised before regaining his composure.
"Aw, princess. Did I make you mad?" He circled me and I waited a second before faking a kick. He extended his leg to block and I grabbed his leg and heaved him onto his back. Jumping on top of him I delivered a couple swift punches. He grabbed my hips and flipped us over so he was on top of me and grabbed both of my wrists, putting them above my head. His face was inches from mine, both of us breathing heavy. I delivered a harsh head butt that caused him to fall sideways off of me.
"F*ck, Olivia. What the h*ll?!" He gripped his nose and I could see bl*od start to spill between his fingers. I threw him a towel and picked up my stuff.
"You're like a brother to me, and I love you. But sh*t talk about my parents like that again and I will tear you to shreds myself. Capiche?"
I walked out, leaving him to deal with his most likely broken nose by himself. I walked back upstairs to the apartment and swung the door open. I could see the back of Alex and Shawn staring at the TV. I pulled my shoes off and walked into the living room, plopping down in the chair next to them.
"Where's Addy?" I asked, picking up the bag of chips on the table and stuffing a few in my mouth.
"She went to talk to the alpha. We're going to have to take you there soon. He's starting to suspect there's someone else here. Another pack member came to visit and saw you leave. I'm sure they've told him something's going on." Alex didn't look at me when he spoke and just kept lazily watching the TV.
Shawn looked around and glanced back at me. "How bad did you beat up Adam?"
"Bad enough. He's nursing a broken nose right now." I stuffed a few more chips in my mouth before setting the bag back on the table. I got up and headed towards the bathroom to shower. Alex held up his hand and I gave him a high five on my way by. I heard him snicker behind me and I grinned to myself, knowing he took a little pride in the fact I did some damage.
I stood under the hot water in the shower and let it run over me. I turned the handle up a notch bringing the temperature hot enough to turn my skin red. I was ready to get this over with and take my pack back. There was so much uncertainty I couldn't help the anxious feeling that was coming over me. This needed to end, and soon.
I finished my shower and pulled on a clean sports bra and leggings. Walking out of the bathroom, I finished drying my hair with my towel. I froze in place when I heard Addy's voice along with one I had never heard before.
'Go to the bedroom, don't go to the living room. Now.' Aly's voice thundered in my head and I sharply turned in the opposite direction towards the bedroom. Closing the door softly behind me, I put my ear to the door to listen for anyone coming. There was whispered voices, but no footsteps coming my way. I heard Adam's voice and could tell he was frustrated, but couldn't hear what they were saying. Suddenly, I heard quick footsteps coming towards the bedroom and I slipped into the closet, softly closing the door behind me. I was trapped if they decided to look for me, but at that point it would be a fight or flight response.
The door opened and closed. I heard Adam's voice softly swear under his breath.
"Olivia, come out. Alpha Demetrius wishes to speak with you."
