Got You!

"Wow, easy there fella, we just want to know where you want to go," Hank, the tall bulky man helplessly waved his palm, he didn't know what to say all he did is just ask where the man would go. Jin Sung sighed once more."If you don't want trouble from me then move aside," Jin Sung calmly moved forward like he didn't care anymore making the group of man has no choice but to move aside. "W...wait our general would like to talk with you, our general has a habit of befriending people that can match him, I'm sure he'll give you something worth your time," Hank was nervous now, contrary to how he talks to Jin Sung earlier. "take me to him then," Jin Sung turned with his eyes lit up, although he is tired mentally, the mention of rewards sometimes could uplift that. "Yes, sir, follow me," Hank smiled in relief and lead the way with his friends, it was an unexpected situation, at first Jin Sung thought these guys would fight him for defeating their general, then suddenly they make him follow them to meet their general who is currently in the medical section to heal his wounds. Sunlight poured in through the diaphanous cloud, thin as it was it still shades a large part of the city, cooling the city just a little bit, yet this is what Jin Sung currently need, and the cool breeze that follows is the best thing that Jin Sung had experience after the fight. While they proceed to strode towards the medical section, Jin Sung could see that the people looked at him with a weird gaze, at first he thought that these people would hate him to defeat their general but Jin Sung did not feel the animosity in their eyes. The city shape is quite simple and is smaller than most cities, well it should be as its true purpose was a military base, it would take too much time and resources to build a true city, the pavement of the city was dirt which still has some stone protruding out of it here and there, it looked very contrary to the beautiful shaped houses that the city has, it just looks out of place. Jin Sung shook his head removing the useless thought that occupies his mind, he should be looking for strategic structures to bombs not the aesthetic of the city. After a while, they finally arrived at the medical section, what it means by section is just a group of buildings assigned to tend the wounded and where the healers are staying, the shape and size varies but it didn't differ much from the rest of the buildings, maybe they have the same architect, Jin Sung thought. They went on to step up their feet to enter a building that is larger than the rest, from the outside, this building looks snug and comfortable. It has been built with white pine wood and has Burgandy brick decorations. Short, wide windows let in plenty of light and have been added to the house in a mostly asymmetric way. The building is equipped with a huge room that has many beds for patients to use and two private rooms, probably reserved for important people, it also has a spacious waiting room, for people to wait, it seems like a hospital but a lot more... ancient. Jin Sung nodded, at least they make the buildings look like a hospital if they didn't then Jin Sung would ridicule them for their stupidity by trying to make a fake city but the building is obviously fake. "How many healers are there in the city?" Jin Sung leisurely asks, he didn't put much hope into the question as it was an important piece of information and he didn't expect in the slightest that these punks would know. "We have around 2,500 healers in the city, sir," Hank replied immediately which make Jin Sung startled at how easy it was to gain information here. "That's quite a lot," Jin Sung would like to ask a few more questions before they arrive, but unfortunately time is not on his side as they already arrive in front of a room with pinewood double doors, beside the door is a string with a handle on its end and under it is a sign. 'Bell' This makes Jin Sung startled because back in ancient times, they didn't have this kind of thing or maybe they have but Jin Sung didn't know about it. Hank leisurely moved toward the string and pull the handle. Ring! The bell ring was quite loud, making Jin Sung thought that maybe putting a bell inside a sick person's room is a bad idea as it could disrupt someone's rest. "Come in," a calm voice replied from the room, but it was not Brugdath's voice, which makes Jin Sung frown in suspicion, nevertheless he follows Hank from behind as he enters the room by pushing one of the doors open. When he entered the room all he could see was white and smells of medicine linger in the air starts to flow to his nose, tingling it slightly, the room was windowless and the only light source it has is a light crystal that emitted bright white light that lit up the entire room. "Only the black ghost can enter, everyone else leaves!" a calm yet indifferent tone caught Jin Sung's attention, he searched for the source of the voice only to see a man with a white robe is currently reading a piece of paper while sitting on his desk. Without question asked, Hank and the other left the room, leaving Jin Sung standing alone in silence that makes the atmosphere feel awkward. "You have a great fight with the general I assume," "It was fun," Jin Sung replied reflectively, before thinking that it might not be a good answer. "The general is currently laying on his bed, while you could still stand strong, it was obvious that you have fun," "I'm just lucky to be able to win," Jin Sung didn't know why he decided to reply in modesty, after all, they are all his enemies, he could just brag in front of them to reduce their morale and call in the army to flatten the entire city with mortar shells. "Haha, Why are you so modest with your achievement, the general is a Peak Foundation Building stage body cultivator, he didn't get the title The Mountain for nothing, yet you easily defeat him," The man chuckles like he was talking to a friend, and it weirdly makes Jin Sung felt closer to the man, it makes him felt comfortable you can say. Jin Sung also realized this anomaly, maybe this a trait that a healer has, he thought before waving it out of his mind. "Haha, the general is far stronger than me, the reason I win is that I use weapons while he was not," Jin Sung usually didn't like to chit chat with people, because interacting with people makes him uncomfortable, back on earth where he had to attend events, parties, friend's wedding, he always stays silent unless someone asks him a question, and his answer is mostly short and brief making anyone would walk away after a sentence. Yet surprisingly he didn't feel any discomfort from this man, instead, it makes him feel to talk more to this man which is rare unless the topic is about his hobby. The white robe man subtly smiled before he stood up and approached Jin Sung."Let me introduce my self my name is Myles Barnett, you can call me Myles, it was nice knowing you," Myles reached out his palm to offer Jin Sung a handshake. "My name is Jin Sung, you can call me Jin, it was also nice to know you," Jin Sung subtly smiled as he really enjoys Myles's presence. Myles nodded in satisfaction before he pointed politely towards a door that led to another room."The general had been waiting for you," Jin Sung nodded politely before he turns his attention to the white double doors that resemble the wall around it, if he didn't see the small handles on it, then he would think that Myles is messing with him. "I'll see you later then," Jin Sung waved his hand in a friendly manner before he enters the room. "So you admit that the fight is not fair?" a hoarse voice with a friendly tone suddenly sounded when Jin Sung entered the room. He turned his head only to see a short bulky man leaning on the headboard of the bed, the man doesn't seem to be in pain or sick, instead, he seems like he just woke up from a great dream. "Not really, even without weapons, I believe I still could defeat you," Jin Sung approached the short man until he stood07 beside him. Brugdath snorted in response."I bet my whole wealth that you have no chance against me if you are unarmed," "We could do a rematch any time," Jin Sung had his hands crossed and a smile on his face, he really enjoyed that fight mostly because he won if he didn't then he probably wouldn't enjoy it. "I think I need to rephrase my words, I mean I will win if you are completely unarmed," Brugdath gave him a meaningful look. "You knew?" Jin Sung was quite startled, he thought that nobody could figure out that his strength comes from his suit, but he didn't worry much as his identity is still unknown to them. "Of course, anyone at my level that exchange fist with you would know, your breathing, your movement, and your aura, they didn't resemble any fighter at all, you look like a newbie that suddenly got a powerful body," Jin Sung was surprised that this man could discern that much from the fight, he didn't have any martial arts experience at all so he didn't know about this stuff. I guess joseph must have a hard time playing pretend, people here are so much into details, the way you move would make people notice that you are fake, but again Jin Sung does not worry as he didn't fight much and so his identity is not very known. "But the fight was my loss so we could be friends," Brugdath subtly smile while giving Jin Sung his hand for a handshake. Jin Sung smiled and slowly reach out before Brugdath suddenly grab his hand violently. "We could be friends, only if you are really the Long Spear of the west instead of Jin Sung the leader of the rebel force!" Brugdath stared at him intently, a sharp gleam flashed in his eyes.
