Helpless Phantom!

in a vast plain filled with grass and vegetation, an army with the strength of 1.000 is marching towards Xiangwei. The ground trembles as the army advances as a whole. Constant drumming of synchronized steps, the thundering sound alone is enough to put fear into even the bravest of souls.

Up close it's the clanging of heavy armor that overpowers all other sounds. The thumping steps of the army can be heard only faintly and the expression of the soldiers are cold and murderous, one look and you know each one of them is a cold-blooded killer.

This is the army of BrinePort City although they are smaller in numbers this unit has more battle experience than the 10.000 units send by Nova Vox city that's because the emperor sends an inexperienced legion to Xiangwei to train them but BrinePort City sends its best army to destroy the rebel forces.

The Unit in front wears big bulky armor and a broad shield, their body is also huge and even though it was covered by armor you still can feel their bulging muscle by looking at them.

They're followed by footsoldiers armed with pikes, who in turn are followed by elite Longbow units with deadly precision.

They march from day to night without rest, yet tiredness seems foreign to them.

This is the Aegexor, the proud army of BrinePort city they wage countless wars, fights countless battle, and in each war and in each battle they always return victorious which make the ruler of BrinePort City proud of them.

The one who makes the Aegexor so domineering and well known across the empire is not just the soldiers but their commander as well. His name is Azor also known as Bloody Azor because his army always left a bloody trail wherever they go, with his vicious yet smart and cunning strategy none of his enemies is able to defeat him.

But even so, he is not an arrogant man because his teacher had said to him a long time ago. "Honor binds us" and he keeps this quote deep in his heart until today which makes him the man he is today.

Azor is currently on his tall carriage which is pulled by 2 Huge magic beasts with big curved horns, they look like bison but much larger.

Azor's carriage is located behind the army so he can see the whole situation of the army."Halt! Raise the tent we will rest here for the night!" Azor still sat on his carriage he didn't shout in a loud voice yet the army could hear his command like he was talking next to their ears.

The army skillfully and swiftly set up their tents, their heavy armor doesn't seem to restrain their movement at all, after setting up their tents they immediately go to sleep with their heavy armors on and use their weapons as hugging pillows. They didn't eat, drink, nor talk among themself.

200 soldiers take turns to rest and patrol the area to warn the army if there is an enemy approaching.

The night is dark and silent, the light that you can see is only the soldier that patrols the area with a magical lamp on their hands, the camp had no light whatsoever. Suddenly an invisible soundwave surges into the camp which makes the soldier woke up and dash out from their tents.

Inside a big golden tent located in the center of the camp is Azor currently sitting on his desk. "They have come!" he said casually

the soldiers were prepared, with their armors on their body and their weapons in their hands they were prepared for battle at all times, but when they come outside they see no enemy to fight, the soldier on patrol also didn't see anyone they can only hear the ringing sound inside their ears and it's getting worse the longer it rings.

The soldier started to feel uncomfortable, some of them drop their weapons to hold their head because they feel so dizzy made by the ringing sound, some close their ears while groaning in pain, some even have their orifices bleed.

The soldier keeps on groaning, bleeding from their orifices, feel nauseated, and wiggling on the floor to try to get rid of the pain it was a horrible sight.

Azor comes out of his tent, seeing this Azor keep His calm."Block your ears to protect yourself!" Azor was unaffected by the soundwaves or at least that's what it looks like on the surface. In reality, though his head is actually experiencing a thousand needle piercing pain which normal people would be unable to bear, and his internal organ is injured if he didn't hold himself then he would already spit out blood.

The soldiers block their ears with their hands and even so they are still affected by the soundwaves. Azor looks towards the distance, yet he only sees a vast plain with grasses and vegetation there is no enemy to see in the distance. he lifts his palm upwards and a surge of Qi started condensing in his palm, after which the Qi transforms into a giant phoenix. the phoenix soars into the sky before it opens its huge beak and spray fire to the ground, the phoenix circle the camp and burns the area around it but it didn't affect the soldier inside the camp in any way even the smoke doesn't get inside the camp.

The phoenix continues to circle the camp and spray fire to the ground yet the soundwave still hits them and the soldier still groaning in pain even though they hold it and keep standing on their feet, they don't want to show their weak side to their commander.

Azor knew this but he didn't say anything to them, he starts to conjure a spell with a weird hand gesture which makes the Qi around move and dance around him."Silent domain!" he clasps his hand and shouted which make the Qi around to spread out like a shockwave. Immediately after that, the camp became silent, it's like someone is turning their audio off while watching a video. The soldier on the other hand still feels pain, they keep on groaning and groaning like they have experienced unbearable pain.

Seeing this Azor remove the silent domain and the sound inside the camp return, they can hear the groaning soldier again, and the sound of the phoenix cawing and burning the ground is heard again.

Azor was quite helpless although he doesn't show it on his face."Retreat! Leave everything behind and return to BrinePort!" Azor had no choice but to retreat he really didn't know what kind of spell the enemy use to inflict damage to the army so he can only retreat and think of a plan to counter it after he brings more of his army.

The sound of AK-47 firing reverberated, the bullets sped through the air and fly towards the phoenix, the phoenix notice the bullets and spray flame at it, the bullets melt and fall to the ground but immediately after the firing sound reverberated again and more bullets fly towards the phoenix, this time the bullets came from several different directions.

The Phoenix opens its beak and sprays flame to the hail of bullets but some bullets got past the flame and shot towards the phoenix.

The sound of bullets tearing skin and flesh reverberated. The phoenix caw in pain and falls to the ground.

"Azor, you and your army are surrounded you can't retreat nor advance, surrender to our Lord and the lord will give you a powerful artifact, and your dream to make your army famous and domineering will not be far!" Ignacio's voice was loud and clear yet his figure is invisible of course this is because Jin Sung bought a lot of Chamelon paper wrap for the army he only has around 300 of them so he bought them the chameleon paper wrap which makes it a lot easier to defeat the enemy, the army had used it before against the army sent by the emperor and it was very effective which make Jin Sung bought more and more Chameleon paper wrap for his soldier.

The ultrasonic soundwave stop, the soldiers finally able to take a breath it is also the same for Azor. Azor looks into the distance and replied with a casual expression."I agree, show yourself and we will surrender to you!"

Hearing this Ignacio replied with a mocking glee."Haha! Azor I'm not a fool I won't show myself only to be killed by you and your army, you and your army will go to the north side of the thick forest, there will be personnel waiting there for you, a few of my men will follow you while being invisible to make sure you guys don't run away so remove those thoughts of retreating to BrinePort City!"

Azor clenches his fist and a vicious frown is planted on his face, but even so, he still leads his army in the direction Ignacio pointed out. at least that was what Azor want Ignacio to think after a few steps Azor instantly cast a smoke spell, and he dashes with his army towards BrinePort City the soldiers have winds on their feet to increase their speed.

Seeing this Ignacio was dumbfounded. "The hell, why are you running away?!" Azor and his army didn't even look back and they keep on getting farther and farther, Ignacio was irritated."Quick! Activate the Ultrasonic wave again and shoot them while you are at it, don' let them get away!!" Hearing this the soldier under Ignacio Command activate the Ultrasonic megaphone and pointed towards Azor's army.

"Ugh!!" The soldiers under Azor's command got struck again by the soundwave but even so their feet keep on moving like it was unaffected, then the sound of Assault rifle firing reverberated which followed by clanging sound made by bullets hitting steel, the armor didn't get penetrated by the bullets only dents are made but even so the impact still shakes the internal organ of the soldiers so some of them fall to the ground.

Azor is still running in front of his army he knows that he will take casualties the moment he didn't understand his enemies tricks."Cutting Tails!!" After he said that his soldier in the rear unit stop their footstep turn around and create smoke and dust to disrupt the enemy's sight, they also conjure a fire spell to create more smoke and to try to hurt the enemy.

Seeing that his sight on the enemy is gone Ignacio was angered."Shoot those guys that are disrupting our sight!" Hearing this the soldier beside him glances at Ignacio."Sir, we can't see the enemy because of the smoke and dust!"

Ignacio didn't look at his subordinate and stare at the dust and smoke that disrupting his sight. After a while, he took out something from his waist that looks like a walkie-talkie, he put the walkie-talkie to his mouth."HQ 7 this is Helpless Phantom 6 - over" after a static sound Jin Sung's voice come out of the walkie talkie."Helpless Phantom 6 this is HQ 7 - over"
