Not even a second had passed but Jin already pulled back his left hand, ready to stab the man in front in the face, just as he was about to thrust his blade, the man in front screamed in panic.

"Wait! Wait! What are you doing? We mean no harm!!!" The man showed his palm to tell Jin Sung to stop.

Jin Sung was taken aback by his reaction and so he canceled his thrust and halts his footstep in front of the man.

"What do you want?" Jin Sung asked warily with his blade raised ready to thrust once more if the man made a move.

"Ahh, I'm sorry mister we don't intend to startle you!" The man made a palm and fist salute towards Jin Sung.

The man had Black, well-groomed hair tight in a ponytail revealing a sculpted, friendly face. Wide gray eyes, set elegantly within their sockets.

Even though the man looked friendly Jin Sung still didn't put down his guard, he still drew his left hand ready to strike at any moment.

Seeing this, the man with a friendly face can only smile in an awkward manner.

"Luo Cai! Why don't you tell him our true intention!" A woman with Silver, shaggy hair tight in a bun reveals a long, lively face, and Wide amber eyes. There's something intriguing about her; perhaps it's because of a tinge of arrogance that can be seen on her face.

Luo Cai glanced at her "All right, I'll tell him!" Luo Cai redirects his eyes to Jin Sung once more.

"Mister! Can you sell the Iron leaf scale snake to us?!" Luo Cai hesitantly said to Jin Sung.

Jin Sung was taken aback by the request of this fellow but he didn't show it on his face well it didn't matter anyway because the suit comes with a mask so no one can see his face but he still acts warily around them.

Seeing this Luo Cai was afraid that Jin Sung would reject him.

"Don't worry the price can be negotiated, how about 500 gold for each snake?!" Luo Cai shows 5 fingers to Jin Sung.

Jin Sung did not respond but kept staring at them instead.

Seeing this Luo Cai increase the price once more at first he increased it to 510, 520, then 550 but seeing that Jin Sung standing still like a statue without making any sound Luo Cai grit his teeth and show 1 finger to Jin Sung.

"All right, 1000 gold coins for each snake?!" Luo Cai with gritted teeth said.

Jin Sung seeing this finally realized that this man is not coming to hurt him but only to hunt beasts and it seems like they are very interested in buying this snake.

Jin Sung was quite confused didn't all cultivators act arrogant and mighty, taking whatever they wanted from the civilians? Now, why would this guy force himself to pay 1000 gold for this snake from me?

Jin Sung can't help but ask the guy "Why don't you rob me instead?!"

Hearing this the cultivators were all stunned. Isn't this guy too greedy? We gave him 1000 gold coins for each snake yet this guy thought that we were robbing him?

"Is 1000 gold coins for 1 snake not enough for mister?!" Luo Cai was taken aback it's 1000 gold coins, not 1000 copper coins how can this guy get so greedy.

"Then how about 1100 gold coins for each snake?!" Steeling his resolve Luo Cai increased the offer once more.

Jin Sung was confused by Luo Cai's reply 'is this guy so dumb that he can't even answer such a basic question?'

"I said why don't you guys rob instead?!" Jin Sung asks again with a louder voice than before.

Hearing this Luo Cai's face sank down, after a moment of silence, he replied.

"All right then mister can decide the price for each snake!" Luo Cai said with a smile contrary to his sunk expression earlier.

"f**k! Do you guys even speak human language? I said, why don't you guys rob me instead of buying the snake from me?!" Jin Sung was irritated.

Luo Cai and his group looked at each other when they heard Jin Sung's remark.

"We don't dare to mister!" Luo Cai helplessly replied, who in their right mind would ask this question, Luo Cai thought to himself, but a smile is still planted on his face.

Jin Sung was slightly surprised by their answer and he asked "Why do you not dare to rob me?"

"Mister those snakes are Qi refining middle stages seeing that you beat 2 of them with ease we don't dare to underestimate mister!"

Luo Cai replied respectively

"Then what level are you guys at now?!" Jin Sung asks again, trying to pry information of the power level in this world.

"We are all at Qi refining low stages although we can beat the snakes with our number but we'll likely take some casualties especially with how cunning the snake is!" Luo Cai replied he didn't even dare to hide his cultivation stage in front of this man.

"Is that is so, then why do you want this snake?!" Jin Sung wanted to ask how people cultivate but that would be too suspicious.

"Ah, about that mister our Jingluo YingYang Sect is having a contest, the contest tells us disciple to hunt beasts, the winner will be decided by the strength and quantity of the beast!" Luo Cai said with a proud expression, he's trying to scare Jin Sung by mentioning his sect.

But Jin Sung didn't know that Luo Cai was trying to flex his muscle by showing off his sect, he did know that the Jingluo sect exists however he didn't know great detail about the power-level of cultivators.

What he knew was that there was 3 different type of cultivation such as body cultivation, soul cultivation and meridian cultivation, he knew because these are general knowledge but what can those cultivators really do was still a mystery to him, well except meridian cultivators because he saw them throwing fireball and stuff so they are similar to mages, Jin Sung thought.

"You are told to hunt beasts then why are you buying it from me?" Jin Sung had an evil smirk planted on his face. Obviously, he knows why this guy wanted to buy the beast from him.

"Mister, I think you already know why I want to buy this beast!" Luo Cai still had a smile on his face.

"If somebody knows won't you get disqualified!?" Jin Sung asks while grinning.

"But if you pay extra I won't tell anyone about it, how about that?!" Jin Sung had a wide grin on his face.

Seeing this Luo Cai knows he just dug a pit.

"Alright mister how about 1200 gold coins for each snake surely this much is enough?!" Luo Cai had cold sweat trickling down from his forehead.

"Alright give me the money then you can take the snakes!" Jin Sung nonchalantly said while gesturing with his hand to Luo Cai to hand over the money.

Luo Cai throws 2 bags of gold coins at Jin Sung, Jin Sung caught the bags then weighs them a few times before nodding to them.

Luo Cai let out a sigh then signaled to his friend to drag the snakes, 4 people walk towards the snakes and together they lifted it on their shoulder; 1 snake is lifted by 2 men.

"Thank you, mister! Before we go, may we know mister's name?!" Luo Cai was happy that he finally got the snake even though he bought it for more than 1000 gold coins.

"You can call me Black Panther!" Jin Sung nonchalantly said obviously he doesn't want to reveal his real identity.

"That is a very befitting nickname for you mister! Then we'll take our leave and stop bothering mister!" Luo Cai said with a smile and a little bow of his head before heading into the distance with his group.

Jin Sung watched them leave, after a while,e he looked at his 2 bags of gold coins then sighed inwardly.

'So earning money is this easy? I don't even need to drag the rabbit home to feed Shi Sung now I can buy whatever I want!" with 2400 gold coins in his hand what kind of food can't he buy for Shi Sung?

'I was planning to rob those evil cultivators but seeing how that man acts and even giving me 2400 gold coins I guess Cultivators are not naturally evil, they are just like those noble in the dark ages of Earth civilization, with the power they have naturally they will oppress the peasant!'

'What a shallow mind they have, they talk respectfully to people that have powers but oppress and disrespect the weak.
