The bullets penetrated through their helmet which damaged their brain and killing them, some making dents and tear on their armor which shakes their internal organ 'clang, clang' the bullets ricochet against their thick armor."Get down!" a soldier said before he sprawl on the ground, he was lucky to only get scratches on his helmet, and a few dents on his armor, his companion follow suit as they quickly sprawl on the ground.

The bullets whizzing past them as the roar of firearms continues, the bullets continue to travel until they hit the trees behind 'Thud, thud' only after a few seconds did the firing stopped.

"I think they're dead, let's look for the tunnel!" the soldier still sprawls on the ground as they hear this."Should we continue to chase them?" a sprawling soldier said, unsure what to do in this situation. "I think we should retreat, our leader is already dead, we will be killed if we try to chase them!" he pushes himself from the ground and walks back to the army, his companion seeing him leaving also considering the option before they started following him.

Some of Ignacio's unit had escaped to the tunnel as some of them are positioned near the forest, only they the unlucky ones are still searching for the tunnels in the smoky forest, with trees constantly snapping and falling as the blazing flames eat them away, they can smell the smokes inside their nose as it tries to invade their lung, they can feel the scorching flame as it burns to the sky, even so, they keep on walking as they tried to locate the tunnel with firearms ready in their arms, with the demonic eye still locking on to them, they have to be ready for the enemy at all time.

"I found it!" as they walk through the blazing forest, a soldier found the trapdoor that leads to the tunnel, the trapdoor was camouflaged with a thin layer of dirt and burned grass, it was hard to know that it was a trapdoor even if you stare at it for minutes. He dashes to the camouflaged trapdoor before he swipes the dirt with his hand. "It's true, it is the trapdoor!" he was delighted that he can finally get out of this hell, the other soldiers were also happy with this finding but they can't afford to put their guard down and keep on the lookout for enemy attack.

"Let's get inside one by one!" a soldier said with his firearms in his hands ready for battle, his comrades nod, a soldier opens the trapdoor and gets inside the tunnel, the other follow carefully as they are wary of enemy attack, one by one they enter the tunnel until the last one get inside the tunnel and close the trapdoor, a burning tree fall on the trapdoor which camouflaged it.

Their escape scene naturally isn't missed by the enemy, with the demonic eye floating in the sky they can almost see everything, Azor told his army not to follow the fleeing soldier anymore because he wanted to see where would they run to, he can't believe that they would get inside a tunnel.'Where did they put the dirt they dug, what about air, don't they need air to breathe, what about the bathroom, isn't the smell could kill them if they are contained in a cave?' Azor was quite amazed by the soldier, not just anyone can stay inside a cave without having a moral breakdown.

"Commander, should we chase them into their tunnels?" Igrus jump out of his mount and walk towards Azor with his long wand in hand, his short body makes the wand look like a cane as its butt touches the ground. Azor glimpses towards the blazing forest, he can't feel the heat as the breeze keep cooling him, he can taste the sweet air in his tongue as it enters his mouth, the grasses are dancing as its sway with the breeze. "Extinguish the flame, we are camping for the night" Azor walks back into his carriage. they've been fighting from noon to dusk which makes the soldiers tired as their armor are heavy, and so does the mount, breeze swish past them as it brings cold and comfort to the soldiers, as the sun starts to close its eyes the moon yawn when it woke up to shine the world with its dimming yet comforting light, with that the soldiers feel like they're ready to sleep for the night.

Inside the tunnel, light crystal had been planted inside which push the dark to a corner, Ignacio can taste the smoke as he breathes, because the smoke enters the ventilation system of the tunnel."Where is the reinforcement, why haven't they come yet?" Ignacio was so furious that he could wreak havoc inside the tunnel if he doesn't hold himself back.

"Sir we just got the news from the spy we captured, apparently the one we fought with is not the main forces, the main forces consist of 40 thousand troops currently fighting with our troops lead by our commander!" Ignacio was shocked everyone was shocked when they heard the news, so that's why the reinforcement couldn't come.

"Who's the one who leads the enemy troops?!" Ignacio cannot believe the one he fought is not the main army, even Azor is here so how can that be."sir, it is Azor himself who leads the army with communication jade to command his army from a distance!" a realization struck to Ignacio."So that's why he never appears, he's commanding other troops while fighting us, that son of a b***h!" Because his rank is higher Ignacio could command them to do stuff but he can't bring them to battle, Ignacio glance towards his men."We should regroup with the others and fight together with our commander he must have a way to win the fight!" Ignacio reassured his men. 'chsuuh' the radio activated before a voice comes out."Helpless Phantom 6 this is HQ 7 over!" Ignacio glance towards the radio before he walks towards it and puts it in front of his mouth."HQ 7 this is Helpless Phantom 6 over!"

"Roger! Delay the enemy troops on your side, we can't afford to have more enemies on this side, if you can delay them by 3 days that would be more than enough, I have sent you explosives, ammunition, and more firearms, use them as you see fit, how copy? - over" 'chsuuh' Hearing this Ignacio was shocked and the weight on his shoulder seems increasing as he feels his body got heavier."Good copy, sir, can we win?" 'chsuuh' "Don't get too emotional soldier, all you have to do is hinder their advance - out" Ignacio feels dejected because the difficulty of the task is immense, they lost 10 people in a single day, how many would they lose in 3 days, can they even survive the moment they exit the tunnel?

He looks towards his men with a dejected complexion, he can't force himself to act tough in this situation. "I will follow your order sir!" one of his men step forward and saluted, determination can be seen in his eyes.

Finally, all 5 of his men step forward and declare that they would follow his order, seeing this, Ignacio was almost brought to tears. Jin Sung taught him that if you treat you soldier like your son, they would follow you to every battle, at first he heeded the advice to creates his forces and someday overthrow Jin Sung, but he remembers that all these things were taught by Jin Sung, even the elders didn't teach him anything yet Jin Sung trusted him to teach him so many things, for this, he was grateful, the weight on his shoulder gone as his men step in to lift the weight. "Let's delay those motherfuckers with everything we got!" Ignacio nods towards his men and smile in confidence.

Jin Sung is currently in his tunnel, he's been commanding his army to do a hit and run strategy which is quite effective and he's been constantly capturing and torturing the enemy for information, because Azor uses communication jade to command his army, their coordination is not good and they slow to respond to changes, Jin Sung uses this as his advantages and keeps changes his way of attack.

"Don't let the enemy have their bedtime, use everything we got from soundwave to explosions!" Jin Sung commanded the sergeants which they quickly saluted and dash to their unit to do their task.

Jin Sung had an ugly look on his face."Those guys are determined to get their hands on the artifact!" Jin Sung is currently sitting on his desk inside his office which was built inside the tunnel, this office would be the command center of the army, personnels are running around outside his office to deliver supplies like firearms, ammunition, and explosives.

Jin Sung stares at the map places on top of his desk."40.000 troops, is live so cheap in here that they can immediately deploy such numbers of troops? Hmph if it is artifacts that they want, Then I'll freaking give it to them!"

'knock' Jin Sung glances towards the door."Come in!" the door creaks as it opens, a man with a neat and tidy appearance walks into the room, the man had a skinny body and small bone which makes him look weak, this man is Joseph."Sir, Lieutenant Joseph Report!" Jin Sung glances towards the skinny yet good-looking man."What is it?"

"Our operation had produced some fruit as the enemy troops casualties rise higher as time passed, I think this is the time to encircle them and eliminate them once and for all sir"

Jin Sung put his fingers on his chin as he averted his gaze to contemplate."Our goal is to make them retreat by making their stay a painful one, we can't encircle them as that will make them made the last standing battle, tell the men, continues to disturb their sleep until they retreat!

"Yes sir, I also have new information about the enemy, we ask the enemy that we captured for information and apparently the lord of BrinePort City has the intention to rebel against the emperor of Theulux Empire!"

Jin Sung eye's lit up when hearing this."Rebel against the emperor? So that's why he's so determined to take his hands on my technology, haha then maybe the lord of BrinePort City could be our new allies!"
