Chapter 30 LaFrance was in his studio, and he requested his guest to wait on him there. The impertinence, she thought furiously. How dare he demand she attend him in his workshop! It was as if he were eager to remind her of the youthful foolishness that threatened to ruin her happiness. Never mind, she thought. It will all end here and now.
