The next morning, I woke up early. Sunlight streamed through the large window, casting a warm glow over the room.
For a moment, I just lay there, staring at the ceiling, trying to gather my thoughts.
Today was the big day—the event, Mr. Dalton’s twins' birthday, and Charlotte's birthday, all wrapped into one.
