Adrian’s POV.
The hall buzzed with chaos. Cameras flashing. People whisper. I could feel their eyes on me, waiting for the next big headline.
But I didn’t care anymore. I wasn’t going to live a lie.
Another reporter stepped forward, her voice cutting through the noise. “Adrian, is it true that you and your assistant, Katherine, are in a relationship?”
I took a deep breath, glancing at the cameras before locking eyes with her.
“Katherine didn’t force herself on me. I was the one chasing after her.” I felt my voice strengthen as I spoke.
“We didn’t just meet. We met years ago in the UK, before reconnecting here. She’s always been the one I felt safe with... the one I could be myself with.”
I saw the reporters scribbling notes, leaning in closer. Good. Let them hear the truth.
