Katherine’s POV As we approached Owen’s mansion. I felt more relieved. Owen was right, I needed the fresh air. Charlotte was with me. We had spoken during the flight but once Owen’s driver came to pick us up at the airport; she suddenly kept mute. I couldn’t quite figure out what was going on in her head, but I was hoping this little break would do us both some good. I needed to breathe, to clear my mind, and maybe—just maybe—figure out what was next. As we pulled up to the mansion, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of relief.
