"Pisteng---Patch!" kalit nga sulti nako ug gilingi si Patch, sge was laughing so hard pointing at my face.

"Arat na sa reception, gutom na kaayo." she said ug gibitad ko.

"Di ko moadto sa reception, magsakit ra akong dughan." I said honestly, sakit naman gani tong ganina nakita nako siya sa simbahan uban si Matt.

"Atay, bahala ka oy! gutom na kaayo." sulti niya ug gihuwapwap iyang tiyan.

Nisunod ko niya ug naabot nami sa reception. Jes welcomed us ug gi entertain mi niya kadiyot.

"Congrats, Jes." Patch said, without looking at her. Iyang mata gatutok sa chocolate fountain nga naa sa hotel.

"Pakyu." I laughed, amiga man sad ni silang duha kay nagka classmate sila sauna.

"Pols kaon sa ko, pag tinanga sa diha." she said and walked immediately.

"Suliton gyud ni nako, tagsa rako makakaon ug lami woy." she smiled widely when she tasted the mallows with chocolate.

"erkaw di karm kaorn?" she asked with her mouth full, astang ngipon nabutangan nag chocolate.

"Busog ko." I said ug gitrapohan iyang baba, "baboy kayka makadag kaon ha." pangasaba nako niya she just rolled her eyes ug nilingkod na gakaon sa iyang gihukad.

I stared at Patch, and laughed in my mind. Pagkaon lang lipay na kaayo ni.

"Musta trabaho?" I asked, she just shrugged. Naa sya nagtrabaho sa kompanya's iyang tito karon and she did nothing but rant about it.

"The usual, awa lang masigo nani akong tinigom. Mohawa gyud ko diha." dako man sab sya ug sweldo diha, baw lang ani bayhana nganu gatipid ni ug maayo.

When the emcee called the newly wed couple in front, I excused myself ug nigawas naghinuktok sa veranda.

I was looking at the moon, with admiration present in my eyes. I always loved seeing God's masterpiece. The sun, moon, stars, oceans, the trees it was my peace of mind.

I sighed heavily, she handed me a bottle of liquor.

We both didn't talked, we just stared at the bright moon admiring how aesthetic it was.

"I loved her." I said, and by that Patch went closer to me patting my shoulders.

"I know." before tears fell in my eyes, my mind brought me back to the time I badly wanna forget.

Nakauli mi from Cebu ni Jes and it was the best days in my life. Naglakaw nako padulong sa classroom nila ni Jes dismissal na and magdungan man mi ug uli.

I was walking excitedly when I saw her laughing with Matt, with holding hands pa. Pero nakaya pa nako nga moduol nila bisan gahuot na akong dughan sa kasakit.

"J-jes.." I calld her almost whispering, kahilakon na kaayo ko gyud. Di nako ma explain ang kasakit.

I was there when Matt turned his back on her, I was there when the demons almost get her wholely.

Jes held my hands and dragged me not so far from Matt.

"I'm sorry, Pollo." she said looking directly in my eyes.

"I tried.." she said, sobbing. "I tried nga higugmaon ka, pols. God knows I tried. Selfish ko sa part nga nihatag kog motibo bisan unsure ko---"

"Are you happy?" I cut her off. I don't wanna hear her explanation anymore, sakit kaayo paminawon.

"Pollo.." she said holding my face, wiping my tears.

"Tell me you are happy.." she looked at Matt and she looked at me with apologetic eyes.

"with Matt, I am the happiest.." she said, without minding the pain those words has caused me.

I nodded slowly, with a heavy heart. I wiped my tears and tapped her head.

"Be happy, until then I will finally let you go." I said, and left her.

I was about to run when I saw Patch gasugat ang kilay gatan-aw nako. She was holding a black pearl. Then she glanced sa akong luyo sila Jes ug Matt ga storya.

She then walk fast towards me, niduko ko but she lifted my chin up and when she saw tears in my eyes, gasugat gyud iyang kilay ug nilakaw dali padulong nila Jes.

"Huy Jes!" wala pa nakalingi si Jes iya na ni gisagpa. I was shocked wala ko kahibalo unsa akong buhaton, Matt was about to get near her pero gisukmag dayon ni Patch iyang nawng.

"THAT'S FOR HURTING MY POLLO." she said calmly emphasizing those words and she took a sip at her black pearl.

I glanced at Matt and Jes with apologetic eyes, they just nodded.

I found myself gasunod ni Patch sa among stambayanan luyo sa skwelahan. Galingkod na siya gahigop sa iyang black pearl.

"Hoy! nganu imo man to gibuhat?!" I asked kay na shock jud ko's iyang gibuhat.

"Because they deserved it?" she asked back looking at me. I sighed, kay kahibalo ko bisan asa pani padulong nga storyaanay daog gihapon nis Patch.

She looked at me, and lifted her hand suggesting that I would sit beside her. Gikab-ot nako iyang kamot hangtud nakalingod kos ugat sa kahoy. Paborito namo nga place.

"Sorry.." sulti niya nga wala gatan-aw nako.

"I just hate seeing you in pain.." she whispered. I looked at her, my heart went heavy ug ganahan kaayo ko mohilak.

I hugged her so tight and rested my face in her neck, my sobs went loud I just felt her embraces while tapping my back.

"Ayaw na hilak ba, makahilak sad ko." she said and I heard her sobs.

We graduated, still I am inlove with Jes.

Years had passed, siya gihapon until I received an invitation.

"HAHAHAHAHHAA ana bitaw ko." naa syay gikuha sa iyang bag and I saw an invitation card also.

"Nays, daghan lafang." she said giggling.

"Tss. dakoa gyud ug kaon ba." she just raised her middle finger and laughed.

I sighed,

That should be me. I cried hard, Patch hugged me.

"Love pa kaayo nako siya.." I stated between my sobs.

"I know.." she said, and hugged me tighter.

I was still staring at the bright moon, human nako nag inoa nga gahilak.

I sighed, yawa pila naman ka panghupaw akong nabuhat karon oy.

"I promised to bring her to the moon.." I said, still looking at the moon.

"But I guess, someone else is now obliged to bring her there.." I looked at Patch nga gatutok sad sa buwan. It was a full moon.

"Can you come with me to the moon, instead?" I asked looking at her, she smiled.

"Oo ba.." she said softly and nitungab sa ilimnon nga naa sa iyang kamot.

"..to the moon with you.." and looked at the moon, I saw how her eyes glimmers that time.

"To the moon with you." I said, and nilingi nasab sa buwan.
