Chapter four

Aleazar’s POV

To say I’m shocked is an understatement. Never did I ever think that I would have a commoner talk to me like this. I’m shocked yes, but I’m very angry. It also makes me find her extremely intriguing, the want of getting to know her more has risen within me. I know I was in a bad mood when I began this journey but now I’m furious, I’m having these mixed emotions and it’s all because of this girl.

I mean all she said was true coming to think of it. I never cared for how I treated the people since my dad’s death. Here I am now, having a commoner bring this to my realization. I know people say it a lot, but I never cared about what they said. Why do I care now? Is it because she is having an effect on me? I’ve decided I must take her with me to my kingdom when I’m done with this meeting.

She seemed proud after what she said to me...when she embarrassed me in front of my guards. She seems hard to read but then I can sense her fear after a while. A smirk made its way to my face. Not forgetting the role I’m supposed to play, a very angry king, I groaned and felt my veins bulging from my neck. “Grab her, and put her in the carriage. And let’s move because I hate being late”, I commanded angrily as I was about entering the carriage. “Let me go you fools, leave me alone”!

I was wandering why she was fighting them so she could go. It was completely useless. “You know you fighting them would not work right? They are stronger and taller than you are. This would be if no use”, I sighed getting tired of her tantrums.

Third person’s POV

“HOW DID SHE MANAGE TO ESCAPE, YOU FOOLS”?

“W-w-we don’t know sir, but then we would have gotten her here if the King of Alzar hadn’t appeared”.

I worked years for this. With the help of someone great that despises her and her family, only for these fools to mess it up. This was the best time to get her, and lure her mother so I could get them all and continue with my plans. I sighed, “Get me my other men cause you guys are as good as dead. Don’t think you can escape from me too, cause I’ll find you all, including your families”, I said lowly. That girl and her family don’t know they are being watched, and I always have a back up plan, and I don’t need anyone else getting in my way. Not even the King of Alzar.
