Agatha The smell of Apricots linger through the air as I survey the fruits and vegetables of my boss' grocery store. There are several people looking left and right to buy their needs. Not to mention, one man was looking at my away while licking his lips. "A lovely lady should not be alone at this hour." Pathetic. The sun is shining brightly yet he manages to say those words in front of me. I looked at him dead in the eyes and walked away. I don't have time to deal any nonsense at the moment because I got better things to do. Glancing at him one last time, he's now talking to another lady. Shaking my head as I said, "Men will be always men." "Auggie!" A little girl yelled. "Nice to see you here again, little Winter. What did your mother asked for you to buy today?" I greeted her while I squatted to adjust at her cute height. "Here! My mother gave me a grocery list, Auggie!" she smiled that showcased her two missing front teeth. "Your mother will make her special soup today, huh? Is there a possibility that I can have her special soup?" I asked her teasingly. Winter furrowed her eyebrows and immediately declined my request. She is really a sucker for her mother's soup. I carried her and went through some aisles. As she was singing some Nursery rhymes, we accidentally bumped to a lady. And wow, she was one hell of a woman. Her beauty can pass as a goddess or even overpass it! I snapped out from my senses as she pointed her finger at me. Winter hid her face on my nape, I felt her shiver from fear. The woman's gaze could cut through metals, for sure. "You should be looking at the right direction, Miss whoever-you-are!" she said. "It was never my intention to bump you, Miss. It was clearly an accident." I replied to her in a bored tone. "Why am I even talking to you? A pathetic commoner with no respect." Such a hypocrite! She has the audacity to say those things while having the attitude? Is she even an important figure in the society? "Hey! You— She just walked out like nothing! "Auggie, let's just buy the ingredients mama listed on the list." Winter said. I heaved out a sigh and smiled at Winter. I guess we should continue our day like nothing. We don't want to waste time thinking lowsy things right? What could go wrong? *** Why is my day awful?! It started to rain cats and dogs and here I am, stranded in a bus stop. Luckily, there are bright street lights all over the lanes. After fetching and buying the ingredients, I brought Winter to her mother. She was at the coffee shop doing her job, being a cashier. Her mother, Brielle, is at my age, 25, she had her kid at a young age. She never disclose any information about the person who got her pregnant. Well, I respect her privacy. We knew each other last three years when Winter was two years old at that time. She trusts me enough to leave her child in my care. Winter just happened to drop by here and asked for my help in buying. She's an intelligent kid even if she's five years old. My bosses are fond of little Winter here. They even give her some free stuffs. Snapping out from my thoughts, I got drenched from the water that the car just drifted off to! Just as suspected, it was a red supercar. Rich people. Why can't the driver slow down? The rain is pouring hard for goodness sake! Another accident will happen in this area if this will keep going. On cue, a bus just stopped by and I got in. Atleast, there's something good after the events I went through today. Still, I despise that lady at the store. I hope she gets choke on water for a little bit. Just a little bit, I'm not that mean unlike her. ***
