I inhaled the crisp autumn air in this little sleepy town. I was on council business investigating some disturbances, a lot of weird stuff was going on that needed explaining. Ever since the dragon emperor and the supreme mage brought our kind into the open humans have been asking for our help to solve anything that they thought was supernatural. I laughed as I sniffed the air assuming that this would just be another ghost chase. I heard growling and a shriek down a nearby alleyway and headed that way curious. If someone needed help might as well be me, gotta make our reputation look good for the people.
