Chapter 9

I stood in front of a tall building which name got me thinking if the late Abraham Lincoln was the founder, I looked around hoping to find someone who would be kind enough to direct or show me the principal's office.

My eyes trailed till it landed on a girl standing in front of a white car, I smiled and walked towards her.

I slightly tapped her on the shoulder which made her to flinch before turning and gosh, she was beautiful, so beautiful that any guy or lady would've drooled while looking at her.

She had strawberry blond hair, a very refined pointed nose that got me wondering if she had surgery and a perfect curve to die for.

I subconsciously said: "You are so beautiful." She raised her eyebrows for a minute then she smiled at me " You are also beautiful, even more than any person I've ever seen." I smiled "thank you."

"Oh! my name is Aurora." She bought out her hand for an handshake, I shook her hand while smiling, "I'm Ella Campbell, I'm new and I needed someone that will show me to the principal's office, I saw you standing here and I decided to to try my luck with you so here I am." I finished the last statement with a smile.

"Well, you are in a luck, I'm going to the principal's office too, so you can just follow me there." I nodded my head and we started walking.

"So Ella, can I call you Ella?" I looked at her and noticed how nervous she was.

"Of course, you can call me Ella in fact, you can call me whatever you want, as long as we become friends." She stopped walking and looked at me. "Really? we get to be friends?"

"Of course, who wouldn't be friends with a beautiful you?" I asked while smiling.

She sighed and looked down, "Well, I do have friends but they are not what you can call real friends, they are just my friend because they want to get closer to my twin brother."

I looked at her facial expression which looked sad, "The people that becomes your friend just for your brother are stupid and I'm thankful because I get to meet you and we get to be real friend."

She looked at me with tears in her eyes, "Thank you so much Ella." I used my hand and wipe her tears, "awwn, don't cry or I will start crying too." we both looked at ourselves and started laughing.

"Ella, I will take you to the principal's office and then we can get to know each other." I nodded my head.

PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE

Aurora and I walked inside the principal's office while laughing at each other's jokes.

We stopped laughing when we spotted a woman in her mid twenties looking at us.

"Mom, this is Ella and she is new."

Wait! did she just said mom?

The woman Aurora called Mom looked at me in a creepy way, she turned to Aurora and smiled "Daughter, seems like you've made another friend." I looked at her and smiled which I knew shocked her.

I mean, why on Earth would she be giving me the creepy looks and at the same time glaring at me.

She is beautiful, her hair is the same with Aurora and I wonder how she gave birth to two children and still looks like she have never gotten pregnant before and the weird thing is my parents are also like that, old but looking young.

She was still looking at me but this time like I've committed a murder, I was still smiling but believe me, my cheeks are hurting so badly

"What is your name?"

"Ella Campbell."

"Age?"

"17"

"What are you?"

"A human being, do you want me to be a robot ma'am?" I asked still smiling. I mean, what kind of question was that?

She glared me even more but I kept on smiling then suddenly she smiled back which kind of freaked me out. "Hi Ella, please don't mind my manner and take a sit." I looked at the place she was pointing and found out that Aurora was already seated looking around like she is bored, I smiled and sat beside her.

"i will look for your locker combination and your term schedule, just give me a minute."

"Yes ma'am."

She looked at me and smiled "Oh! no dear, call me aunt Chloe."

"I will then call you aunt Chloe from now on and........." I didn't finish talking yet before I was interrupted by a deep male voice. "Mom!!! I think I'm on my period."

I looked at the door that just opened and saw a guy that was so beautiful that I couldn't help but blush, he had the same hair as Aurora and he sure looks like her a lot but in a male version.

Aunt Chloe chuckled and asked "Tell me what happened."

"I opened my eyes today and I was feeling kind of sick, I found some blood on my bed and my stomach was kind of........" he didn't finish talking when his eyes suddenly met mine.

Finally!!! I thought he would continue to run his mouth non-stop, I noticed his stares and I raised my eyebrows at him which seems funny to him because he suddenly smiled.

He bought his hands out "Hey beautiful, are you new, we haven't met before, my name is Christopher but you can call me Chris and what your name beautiful?"

I looked at the hand he bought out for a handshake and rolled my eyes "You are not my type." immediately I said that the smile on his face dropped.

I turned to Aurora whose mouth was slightly opened and asked: "Since the school starts at 10:10 and it's 9:30 now, how about getting some ice cream?"

Aurora nodded her hand, I stood up and collected my schedule from Aunt Chloe who was also shocked "Thank you Aunt Chloe." I turned to Aurora not even sparing her twins a glance "Let go."

Aurora stood up and wanted to follow me out but a hand grabbed my wrist. "Why? Why am I not your type?"

I glanced at my wrist that he held and removed it "Because you are on your period and I don't date ugly boys who are on their period." I turned and left with Aurora who was chuckling beside me.

I heard Aunt Chloe laughing while Christopher was yelling ''Which part of me is ugly!!!"
