MATTEO. ​ “What do you mean she’s not home?” I said with gritted teeth, my phone pressed against my ear, as I made my way through the crowd to the balcony to attend to this important information. ​ “I thought the security was lying to me, but it’s confirmed. She’s not here, and so is her car. I’ve also confirmed that she’s not at the office either. I hope she’s okay.” ​ “f*****g hell!” I cursed, trying so hard not to run my fingers through my hair. ​ “What about the package I sent earlier?” ​ “She sent it back, Boss. I got the notification some minutes ago.” ​ I let out a deep breath, trying so hard to contain the anger in me. ​ No one refuses me---ever. She didn't respond to the contract. She returned her outfit for tonight, left me without a date, and now she’s vanished. F
