“You’ve been quiet since you took the pill.” Sage’s voice pulled me out of my thoughts.
“I feel weird.” My voice was barely above a whisper.

Sage’s smile was sad. “You need to stay calm. It’s barely been five days in total. Not sure that’s even enough time for anything to take root.”
