"AND THE WINNER OF THE FINAL MATCH OF THE SECOND ROUND IS.. VALARIE FEXIGON AND FIL NASTAGIAN"

the headmaster announced the winners of the second round and said "AND NOW THE THIRD ROUND WILL BE CONDUCTED IN A WEEK'S TIME AS TO LET ALL THE PARTICIPANTS RECOVER"

Railan looked at the hologram projecting the wins and losses for round 2 and only the guards won other than himself. Upon further inspection, he quickly realized that the entire thing was rigged.

The system went on as The strongest were chosen and the idea was implemented into their mind that to win they have to choose guards. NOT once did anyone choose assassin and this point was further proven by his earlier conversation with Gem.

'Hehe, I truly do have a knack for breaking the system' thought Railan as he giggled silently.

And he slipped back into the infirmary to find Gem and Rez making small talk.

"HEY Railan, what did you do back there? Did you take another one"

"Nope but I can't get into details, lets just say that the ice axel was there when bloodfallen was given to me."

"WAIT! you can take axels!" Exclaimed Gem briefly stunned

"Yea he can" replied Rez blatantly

"Funnily it reminds me of the tales of the great axeleer m******e"

"Hm.. what do you mean by that?" asked Railan

"Ah, haven't you heard? well, I'm not surprised. The tale was very violent and very few people know about it.

It is said that at one point in history a man whose name is unknown came forward with the power to steal axels, One by one he plundered the entire universe until no one was left. It is said that celestial beings had to step in to seal him away."

Railan got chills hearing that and quickly theorized that this person could be none other than Avion himself

"Well let's go train Railan, I really want to choose this time okay?"

"Okay I'll let you choose just chill, well see ya Gem," Said Railan as he waved.

"Hey I just realized something," said Rez

"What?"

"That we could've.... teleported here On the first day of the tournament"

Railan just looked at Rez with an expression that screamed "ARE YOU GOSH DARN KIDDING ME!"

And then they Teleported out of there.

Gem quickly initiated her plan that she hid from all the readers on w******l.

She ran forward all the way to Railan's Inn where he was staying at and saw Rez and Railan and a second later they were clothed different and started talking

"Mate why the hell were we even fighting vampires?!, those things were like a large version of mosquitoes and just kept on coming back over and over - you didn't even tell me that we had to shoot a hell ton of light at it constantly for like ten minutes before it dies"

Gem was shocked at this, first because they were right here and then they were suddenly in different clothes and second, They fought VAMPIRES - they were S rank creatures only found in parts of the world where nobody ventures unless they want to die a painful death and here They were going on about how it was hard to kill them like it was NOTHING!.

there was something up with them and Gem HAD to find out.

a week was over and came The FINAL round of the tournament of towers.

Railan only recently realized that the tournament of towers was called so because of the axel academy's numerous towers.

"AND WHAT YOU ALL JAVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR...THE FINAL ROUND IS UPON US." Boomed a familiar voice.

This was clearly a very important match as the entire royal family of the alliance of a few towns had come to watch.

The participants slowly entered the ring.

There was Rez and Railan and then 6 of the elite 9.

People were chattering about the fact that there were first years in the final round among the Elite 9. They were pitying them thinking they had no chance but Maybe they did....and maybe they didn't.

"FOR THE FIRST MATCH WILL BE REZ VS FIL, A MEMBER OF THE ELITE NINE AGAINST A FIRST YEAR I THINK WE KNOW WHO SHALL WIN" said the headmaster sincerely with a pity in his voice "AND UNLIKE ALL THE OTHER YEARS THIS YEAR BEFORE A FATAL BLOW THE PERSON WILL BE TELEPORTED OUT AS WE DO NOT WANT TO OIT EFFORTS OF VERY TALENTED STUDENTS IN VAIN."

Oh so now he didn't have to worry about hitting Rez if they ever get matched. this was the thought beared by Railan as Rez entered the stadium.

The crowd was rowdy and wanted a display of very talented students.

As the match began, Rez charged in and halfway through he Teleported no where to be found. his opponent quickly jumped up as Rez came hurling out of the ground at a very high speed and the force sent huge gusts of winds all around. Then Fel placed his hand on the floor and chanted. quickly more than a hundred Kobolds were summoned.

"Ah a summoner and a good one at that - to control so many but you are not the best match up against me." said Rez before Teleporting behind a surprised Fel and stabbed him but before he could do so, Louis had already Teleported him out.

"The crowd went silent witnessing a fist year beat a member of THE ELITE 9.

Rez Walked back to the stands feeling gazed piercing into him.

"Hey man, that was actually good" said Railan as he gave a grin

"Thanks, and you better win" Replied Rez as he lightly punched Railan's shoulder.

"NEXT UP IS RAILAN VS GELA" boomed the headmasters voice

"heh I wonder if she's strong" Said Railan as he wakes over to the stadium

He saw opposite to him a girl with black hair with purple streaks and purple lips. She wore super dark hard armour and had her slender arms fully covered in a long sleeve.

"Begin!"

Railan looked at his opponent inspecting her

She took one look at him and said "Blood bound"

She cut her hand with her dagger and let a drop fall in it.

Railan already knew what she was doing and let her do it in order to fight her at her Maximum strength.

The blade glowed Red and them started to pulsate.

"Limit breaker" said the Gila.

there hair looked like it was suspended in space and a dark ominous purple aura surrounded her.

"Well let's we if the fruits of training paid off" said Railan

"Limit breaker" said Railan

Everyone watching had widened their eyes. This was because limit breaker was very had to do and was only taught in third year of the academy.

Railan's hair too moved like it was suspended in empty space.

A bright red glow emanated from him.

"Heh looks like I'll have some fun this round" said GELA not taking her eyes off of Railan.

Railan mover forward gracefully and tried to cut GELA but she blocked it and moved forward at an incredible speed forming craters at where her legs had once been. She slashed her daggers upward and brought one down and one with a vertical s***h towards his neck but Railan's sword blocked the one from upwards with it's blade and the other while irregularly blocking using the hilt.

He twisted his sword and one of the daggers flew away but Railan's sword snapped due to the power of the blood bonded weapon. It flew back into her hand as she extended it.

But as she did she tried moving forward but was stuck to the ground by a d

red crystal looking think.

"Hmm I see that's what happens when you supply your limit broken power to your axel....hmm interesting" said Railan as though it was some kind of fun experiment.

Gela tried to break the ice but it didn't budge so she then gathered a ball of dark energy that crashed it but it dissipated like it never was there.

"No way" she muttered

she then created a larger dark ball but this time pointed at Railan but before she released it, she was Teleported out and saw a red ice spear where she was a few moments ago.

The crowd gasped again seeing a first year beat the school's number 2 student.

Railan walked back and started talking to Rez as he couldn't care less about the next few matches
