Accidents in the Moonlight

You did what?!? (Lucas's POV)

I wake up in a blue room with brown trim along with a brown dresser in the middle of two doors. There we also posters of famous quarterbacks such as Peyton Maney, Tom Brady, and many more.

 A moment later I realized I was in my room. How do I really not notice my room? What happened last night? All I remember was hunting until a wolf came up a stabbed me with a knife. 

"Knock, Knock." said a small voice outside my door. Slowly the doorknob was turning and a little girl no taller than 4 feet came running in with her long brown hair racing behind her screaming " He's awake! He's awake!"

"Okay, okay, I think they know, Lily," I said with a mischievous smile plastered on my face. Slowly my hands move towards her stomach. 

"Tickle attack!" I started tickling her crazy. 

She was giggling, screaming, and begging me to stop.  

"Fine..." I said reluctantly. 

"Oh! I almost forgot. Zar Zar is asleep in sissy's room." She said while wiggling out of my grasp and running out of the room.

Zara! I almost forgot she found me last night. What happened to her? And why was she out in the woods at that time? She is never out in the woods.

I hopped out of my bed only to notice I was only in shorts.  I look at the alarm clock. It was 11:15. Ugh, I never sleep in. I got changed into a pair of dark blue jeans, a white polo shirt, and a pair of vans. I also comb my hair. 

At 11:20 I was walking down to Cambria's room. I was about to knock on the door only to see it open. so instead I laid upon the door frame to wait for her to wake up.

Zara, was beautiful when she slept. Her hair was down making the bed around her looking laced in white. Pure beauty. That's the only way to describe it. But wolf law is that I can't be her mate. She must have an Alpha of some kind. 

As I stared down at her sleeping body, she started to stir. When her eyes open she sat up a little and started to look around. Only for her brows to crease in confusion. 

Then her eyes met mine. And a look of relief came across her expression.

"Hey," I said.

"Hey," she said with a bit of confusion in her voice. 

"Umm... Sorry about last..." before I could finish she jumped.

"It's fine, but I need to talk to you," she said in a hesitant tone.

"Okay." I said then when she was about to get up only to say, "Can you give me a moment?"

"Okay," I said when I notice she was spinning her finger to show what she meant."there are clothes in the dresser if you want." I continued knowing that she didn't have any after last night.

Not even five minutes later I was staring at a girl in a blue crop top and skinny jeans.  And may I say she looked hot!

Wait I'm off the topic she wanted to talk about something. "So what do want to talk about?"

"well... I might have made a little mistake," she said slowly. 

Okay. Not exactly what I was thinking she wanted to talk about. "Okay... umm... want to go elsewhere?" I asked in a hesitant voice. 

"Sure."

I take Zara to a little lake a few minutes away from my house. the lake was as clear as the sky at night. It was beautiful. 

My older sis found the lake a few years back when she was still cool and willing to hang around. Now she is off doing who knows what. and I only see her on moon bath nights. but even then she is off with a bunch of the warriors of the group. Sometimes even with Zara's brother, Dewey. An odd name I know. 

"So what do you want to talk about?" I ask once I noticed she hasn't started the conversation. 

"Oh... Ya... about that..." 

Oh Goddess what did she do? I thought. What I did not know was I said it out loud. I look at Zara and see her mouth adjure. "What?" I asked.

"Did you not just hear what you just said to me?" She asked.

"No... but we aren't here to talk about whatever I just said. Just tell me what you did this time." I said annoyed that she was trying to get around this. 

Zara is like a little sister to me. Even though we are only a few months apart. and that is will be the next alpha. thanks to her stupid brother. You see me and her brother aren't on the best terms. Especially after he hurt someone dear to me. This also caused him to be stripped of his right to be alpha. It's not as he cared really. 

"Umm... are you listening?" Zara asked with a confused and angry look.

"Umm... ya... but just in case can you repeat it please?" I ask with a flash of my pearly whites. 

"Ya be glad you are my friend, or else..." was this cutie trying to scare me? Ha! 

"Sure... you could never hurt me and you know that," I said back.

"Whatever." She said with a roll of her eyes."Anyway, I was trying to tell you I bit a human!" 

She what! "You did what!"

This breaks every code of the alphas and elders! No way Zara would do this. She maybe headstrong, stubborn, and loud, but she never breaks the rules never.
