How did I go from being on cloud nine sitting with my family and listening to the twins Jace and Ashley talking very animatedly about my amazing mate, to me feeling a debilitating pain in my right shoulder and feeling my mate's distress through our bond, to finding her bleeding from a bite wound as two dirty rogues lay unconscious next to her and her cousin?.
How the f**k did any of this happen?.
Where did these rogues come from?.
Why did they attack my mate?.
