Jo-anne had stayed away from him now; spent the last three days holed up in her room, painting. Ella was spending time with her on a daily basis, and was reporting back to him. He was worried about how she was after her visit to Heath. T.J. had reported to him what the man had said.
That she had concerns about everything Heath had said to her; that she seemed to be able to make some reasonable assumptions about the man's ramblings. That could actually make sense, though West did not believe she had sent him insane. He was not crazy; confused about many of his actions towards her in the past, but not insane.
