Cassidy slept for an hour and woke up feeling as if nothing had happened. She blinked slowly, feeling the drowsiness fade as a faint smile touched her lips. Grabbing her phone from the bedside table, she quickly dialed Nova's number and he answered on the third ring.
“Nova, come pick me up. Right now,” Cassidy demanded, her voice was filled with excitement.
Nova sounded confused on the other end. “What’s wrong? Why are you suddenly…..?”
“Are you coming or not?” she cut him off, her tone sharper than usual, as though she didn't have the patience for a conversation.
Nova hesitated for a second but finally sighed. “Yeah, alright. I’ll be there in thirty.”
