Cassy stepped aside, allowing Dave and Camilla to enter. She felt a sense of unease as she watched them interact.
“Come on in you guys.” Camilla jumped in the house and smiled at Dave. Dave's eyes scanned the room, his gaze locking onto Nova, who was still sitting on the couch. His eyes were reddened and he had this anger fluid that almost took control of him. He sighed and took a deep breath, he wouldn’t let the sight of Nova ruin his meeting with Cassy. He let out a forceful smile and stretched his hands for a shake as Nova accepted it also,
"Hey, Dave. Long time no see," Nova said, his voice friendly.
Dave's handshake was brief, his eyes never leaving Nova's face. "Nova."
Camilla, sensing the tension, stepped in, her voice bubbly. "So, Cassy, how have you been? We've missed you."
