CHAPTER 7 THE POTTER OUTLOOK CAFÉ
The Potter Outlook Café was nothing like we expected. Instead of a quaint Highland tea room, we found modern wood furnishings, expansive windows, and a chalkboard boasting "The Best Scones in Glenfinnan" in bold chalk strokes. The contemporary design made perfect sense for a spot that hosted thousands of Harry Potter enthusiasts each summer. Brian's mood immediately brightened when he spotted a smaller sign: "Vegan Options Available."
"Vegan options," he breathed. "Something's finally going right today."
I gave him a playful nudge. "Don't get your hopes up. Around here, a 'vegan option' usually just means a bruised apple and plain black coffee."
